    Would you recommend these for all splices? I was also curious what is the longest run a system like this can be run, at some point is there too much resistance, say you wanted to run several 1000 lft. (5000 lft)? I'm also curious if you would recommend possibly running each splice to an above ground waterproof box for isolating and troubleshooting. Much appreciated I'm very happy I found your site. Great job.

      Hello Lex! Yes I recommend all splices to use the capsules as I show in the video. Also, different fence systems can support various lengths of cable. Some systems can only handle a few thousand feet while others can cover up to 100 acres!! The system I recommend and use, can cover up to 5000 feet of fence cable. There really is no need to leave the splices exposed. As long as you make the splices as I show in the video, you should never have an issue with the splices.
