Hi 👋 ladies I love this recipe! I tried it last year! It was delicious 😋 thank you for this great video ❣️sending love 💕 my family is so excited for this Turkey❣️
I’ve been married 26 years and we never make turkey in our home but this year my kids want me to make turkey as my newly daughter-in-law wants to eat it and is far from her family so I’m watching you’re turkey videos and feel hopeful to make it tonight. Thank you.
Hi Steph and Claudia! A few things I just have to get on to tell you. First, I have watched many of your videos over the last few years. I rarely watch any cooking videos because I am busy cooking myself, but one night about 4 years ago I was feeling very down and I got on UA-cam. I ran into one of your videos, I think Mutbang (the 2nd I had ever seen - why do these things amuse and comfort us LOL), then immediately one of your Mexican food videos and I have been coming back periodically ever since. Your warmth and genuineness make me feel comforted and at home. I live in Michigan, but I am Texan and I miss friends, family, and so much of Texas, especially truly good Mexican food, whether authentic or TexMex. I want to Thank You both for being You and caring about us. If I am down, I know where to come. Secondly, my favorite turkey piece is the thigh, but when a turkey is cooked well, a.k.a. juicy white meat, then any and all of the meat is GOOD. I love turkey. Many years ago, probably before you were born, I roasted a 26# turkey with chilis and herbs (my favorite with turkey or stuffing is sage and black pepper), covered fully with a Mole' Negro sprinkled with Sesame Seeds, served with Arroz Verde, Chiles en Nogada (made with lamb), Crema de Calabaza con Pepitas y Hojas de Salvia fritas con Mantequilla (served in little fresh pumpkins), Enchiladas de Mariscos (grilled poblanos, jalapenos, onions, shrimp, and Oaxacan cheese inside tortillas made from heritage rosado corn), Tacos de Chorizo y Papas con Aguacate y Cotija (tortillas were made from heritage azul corn), Ensalada de Nopales Asada (with roasted red peppers, tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, olives with a lime, soy sauce vinaigrette), Ensalada de Jicama y Naranja (with cucumber, radish, green apple, and cilantro with a squeeze of lime and a sprinkle of cascabel powder), Tamal de Zarzamora con Queso Crema, Empanadas de Pina, Tres Leches, and Ceviche' for appetizer and of course, all of the trimmings and salsas. Breakfasts, tacos, taquitos, and enchiladas from leftovers were glorious! Ever since, even though I love and cook other foods, Mexican has always been my first love and focus. My favorite being Chile Rellenos (I also really love to make these using eggroll wrappers or uncooked flour tortillas, frying them, so they are like small chimichangas but in all else, a chile relleno - I can't stop eating them), Taquitos and Flautas with Birria, but my Birria is unconventional because along with the dried chilis I make it thick by grinding many types of fresh roasted red peppers and chiles (and chopping some to be chunky) and using ancho paste. I grew up from 8-12 years of age cooking in the kitchen of my best friend's mother who never spoke English. None of her 5 daughters wanted to learn to cook, but I did, so she let me cook with her. I only learned the basic dishes from her, but I still make them how she taught me. You two take me back to my childhood with her. Also, I cannot wait to try the taquitos with gravy, OH MAN! (In my 20s a good friend of mine and her aunt and cousins let me make Christmas tamales with them and we always used the whole cows head. I loved those times! We camped out at her house for 3 days making tamales :D) Finally, I have a little granddaughter turning 10 and she wants YOUR turkey, served whole, for her birthday party. I cannot wait to make it for her. I will come back and report the wonderfulness! Pssssssttt, I know why your turkey thermometers never pop up. It is because you wrap your turkeys tightly in foil. They won't pop up that way, but you don't need them, girl! You know what you are doing! I love you Ladies and wish you all the best
I made my first turkey yesterday and thanks to your recipe, it was a hit, everybody couldn't help but to go for 3rds! It's hard to find the same ingredients here in Mexico but with what I was able to find, I gave our guests a taste of my old home. There was a moment where no one was talking since they kept their mouths full of turkey. Thank you so much for this delicious recipe!!
I followed this recipe the last 2 years and I got so many good compliments on how tasty and juicy it turned out. I'm back here for a 3rd year in a row🎉. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
Hello! I have made your ranch dressing and turkey for the first time ever and it was delicious! "Juicy" does not properly describe the juiciness of this dish! Thank you! PS. I love the way you talk about food! Your personality adds a special flavor to your recipe!
A key secret to seasoning the meat is to take your seasonings and go up under the skin and rub the meat so that the flavor gets into the meat. Not nocking your recipe at all. It looks excellent and delicious. You are my top cooking UA-camr. Keep them up. ❤️
So this is going to be my first Turkey that i will be making. I never like turkey because it was always so dry. I was searching on UA-cam for a juicy turkey and came across your video. I made your recipe for the Ranch, followed step by step instructions, and the recipe of the sauce to put on the turkey. I can’t wait to cook it tomorrow! The ranch was so delicious and so was the marinade. Thank you for the Amazing Videos and recipes!
Yay! So happy you are trying our recipe. You got this. Make sure internal temp is 150-155 Degrees (f) before roasting. I’ll link our longer fully detailed recipe below. Happy Holiday! Steph 💕 ua-cam.com/video/N2ivkdaaGuY/v-deo.html

I am curious what are your feelings on the turkey bags bags instead of the aluminum foil ?
I knew if I scrolled long enough!
I’m wondering the same :)
Yes, I wonder if you get the same results using a bag instead of all the foil.

We camped out at her house for 3 days making tamales :D)
Finally, I have a little granddaughter turning 10 and she wants YOUR turkey, served whole, for her birthday party.
Today is thanksgiving & I will be using this recipe. Thank you! Happy Thanks !! 🙏
I've made your turkey twice. I'm making again tomorrow. Thank you for this

Hello! I have made your ranch dressing and turkey for the first time ever and it was delicious! "Juicy" does not properly describe the juiciness of this dish!

I made this recipe last year and I don't like turkey but now I do thank you for sharing I will be making this recipe again this year
Good to see you 🤗 happy holidays! ❤️ Steph
A key secret to seasoning the meat is to take your seasonings and go up under the skin and rub the meat so that the flavor gets into the meat. Not nocking your recipe at all. It looks excellent and delicious. You are my top cooking UA-camr. Keep them up. ❤️
So this is going to be my first Turkey that i will
be making.
Steph 💕

I've cooked Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for my loved ones for years, but I've decided to try something new with this recipe this year. I just made the sauce blend and refrigerated it for tomorrow.
This my second year making the recipe!! Thank you so much for sharing ❤ last year was my first time making it like this and by far the best ever!! This year I’m making this for my family ❤
First time making a turkey this year for my husband, it’s in the oven right now so far so good! ❤️
So my wife and I are trying your recipe out for this year. Your's seem simple, no brine-ing or leaving over night. We've had NO luck with previous recipes so we're hoping that your's is the one.I'll be dropping a comment AFTER it's all done. Wish us luck. Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
How was it
@Felicia DEEEEELISH!!!¡ Going to be how I make it from here on out
Turkey was super moister and full of flavor !!! Got so many compliments. Made one in the oven and another one in electric roaster. Let me tell you both came out beautiful and juicy .
I made your turkey this year for Thanksgiving, this is the first time in ever that everyone loved the turkey and it made the best sandwiches. Thank you so much for sharing I will use this from now on!
