      @@SoulforSale , I understand your point and it does seem like a decision. We now know that negating behaviors like addictions to alcohol, drugs, foods, etc etc are not really “decisions” in the sense of a moment in time when we suddenly decide to be self destructive, or to abuse power, etc. If that were the case we would all “decide” not to become obese, or alcoholic, or meth addicted, or abusive. It’s more an accumulation of small almost-unconscious decisions that eventually destroy us.

      @tangledupinbluegrass Рік тому +18

      @@scottwalker2980 I don't think you understand. Adults wanting to do stuff to minors is much more severe than adults pretending to be minors as decoys. If sick predators aren't caught in a sting or by other means, they will keep going as they have been until they find a real child who they can abuse and mortify and scar for life. I don't think you realize that there are individuals out there who literally sexually desire children and it's the duty of the law to attempt to protect children from that harm. The police decoys and volunteers that pretend to be children never reach out to predators, they wait to be contacted. If you read some of these chat logs it would turn your stomach and maybe change your mind on decoys. Also I don't know where you are from but predators aren't exclusive to the United States.

    The fact that he only started talking to the decoy for one day before he decided to make the trip to come over in-person suggests to me that this isn’t his first time doing this. Someone in his position especially with so much to lose should be so scared that they’d probably ponder over the situation for days or weeks before actually coming over. The fact that it only took him one day reveals a sense of confidence that comes from experience.
    I had no idea before this video that he only started speaking to the decoy the day before. I thought surely he had been speaking to her for a long period of time before actually coming over.
    It’s like someone making the decision to try an illicit drug for the first time. They probably think about it for an extended period of time, pondering it over and doing research on it, before actually making the decision to ingest the narcotic. Then after a few times, they know what to expect, they’ve gotten away with it before, so they’re not as worried about purchasing/taking drugs in the future. It’ll likely be a quick decision once they’ve gained that experience. And the social ramifications/cost of getting caught with drugs is not even in the same stratosphere as what happens when predators get caught.

      You’re theory about this not being Maurice’s first time meeting a minor holds up nicely. He was so casual and relaxed entering the backyard of the “minor’s” house after only chatting with her for one single day. That speaks volumes about him claiming this is “the first time he’s ever done something like this”. When someone has SO much to lose in life should they “get busted” for this, their “comfort level” with visiting underage girls would not be so high unless they’ve done this very thing multiple times before and experienced zero consequences in each of those previous times.

Your comment is written as though he is some unscrupulous greedy researcher selling out by working for pharma. There are two morals to this story: 1) If you get into any kind of legal jam keep your mouth SHUT--DON'T talk to law enforcement EVER! (They are not your friends in this kind of situation--their job is to get you to say stupid shit to strengthen their case against you--PERIOD!!) 2) Most importantly--NEVER solicit underage girls!!

    • @heypepe4502
      @heypepe4502  Рік тому +6

      True on both counts. There's no upside to doing either. Underage girls are not attractive, they're not experienced, many of them don't have boobies. Stay away from the underage girls.
