Children on the move in Trinidad and Tobago transitioning to mainstream education

For four years, migrant children living in Trinidad and Tobago have been enrolled in non-formal education through Equal Place.
In a phased approach starting in September, a group of children who are competent in the English language will be integrated into RC schools.
UNICEF is working with key partners in the education sector to ensure a seamless transition for every child.
