Ladies, take my advice from an older woman. I'm not too old, (under 45, but I sure ain't in my twenties anymore, 😅
So I know about modesty and fashion-
things that work that I learned along the way and things that don't work:
A tube top only works for smaller breast ladies.
Once you're bigger than 36B, gravity will just pull that tube top down and then you got cleavage showing, which is NOT modest. Don't do it.
If you are a bigger than 36B, then just a regular Tshirt/crop top or even a sleeveless tank top will do as long as you wear something over it, in other words, use it only as an undershirt.
Wear skirts or dresses that are a minimum of 3 in. below your knee with NO slits... anywhere on the dress/skirt, not on the side, not on the front and, not in the back either.
Nobody needs to see a Christian peek a boo.
Dresses and skirts should always cover your knees and also the back of your knees even when sitting and stretching and bending over.
Nothing wrong with a longer dress or skirt but definitely no shorter than 3in. below knee length, and that's the bottom of your knee.
Blouses should always be sleeved and the sleeves must be long enough that it does NOT show your armpits even when your hands are raised.
Dress in layers.
Females already do it anyways when they're not trying to be modest, so why not if you are trying to be modest?
Sometimes you need to wear some type of shorts under your skirt/dress like spandex/biker shorts/yoga short pants that are NOT longer than your skirt/dress.
It's okay to double your dresses or skirts. Yes, wear two at a time if need be.
Make sure any material you wear is not see-through unless you layer/double up.
Don't follow the fashion trends.
You're either a child of God or the world's handmaiden and
God doesn't want you to belong to the world either.
Make sure you always look classy not fake, like Hollywood.

Wearing slips under skirts and dresses is always a great idea. It will make the skirt drape more freely so it’ll look better. It also addresses the transparency issue (like when you enter a room and there’s a source of light behind you, like the sun setting, and everyone in front of you will see your silhouette through your skirt. It also helps with clinging underwear due to its material or static. Your slip will work as a “shield”, which is its purpose. I love to see so many young ladies focused on dressing modestly. I’m 60 and I guess I’m the old lady here. Thanks for sharing your hacks.

One thing I do to avoid looking frumpy is to wear cropped outer layers, since having a long cardigan/coat over a long skirt tends to look really shapeless/baggy. My goal is to create a nice silhouette and I feel this does the job nicely =)
Yes, That is a good tip! Cropped layers can emphasize your natural waist thus giving shape to your look 😍
What do you mean cropped outer layers?
The whole purpose of dressing modest to NOT attract attention to your body , clothing should be loose and flowing. Looking shapeless and baggy is good .

I have always dressed modestly but have felt self-conscious because I always thought that people would think I am outdated, didn't have a sense of style, or dressed too old for my youthful age.

There are some teen modest clothes that aren't shirts and cardigans! Like jeans and t-shirts or a track set. And of course you can add accessories. Just try to be resourceful! ♥️

I found your videos looking for videos too dress myself im over 50. I ran into a lady who kept showing cleavage, off shoulder blouses, etc. Thank you for teaching people how to look good but modest without being frumpy.

The tube top is brilliant! There are so many pretty dresses with to low of tops out there. My problem with high knecks as well is when I bend over to pick somethings up. This should solve that.
I also love and appreciate the fact that your "mini" skirts were not actual mini skirts.
So nice to see another modest dresser. I have had tons of men young men right there with the older, say how much they appreciate it and think I look very pretty.
Some of these younger guys have actually come over from sitting with girls in their low neck, noodle strap shirts and mini shorts. Which I think is kind of funny lol. Also have a lot of guys ask of they can help with with stuff, which is SO appreciated. They know that I am not going to be a feminist that will yell at them for the offer

I really look to Victorian, pioneer and Edwardian fashion for inspiration. They were modest but had frame built silhouettes in all their clothes. I also have quite a few "false bibs" and sleeves that can be added to anything. Helps immensely. Take care 💖

Layer! You can layer the mini dress with pants as a shirt and layer a blazer over the back 🙂

I'm Christian (almost 17) and just started to dress more feminine and modestly. I, personally, am someone who cannot stand the feeling of their legs (mostly thighs) touching. I so wish I could be comfortable in skirts and dresses. :(
