Lovely video! I was brought up to dress modestly, and I love it! It's more respectable as well. A lot of women have made fun of my choice in clothes and think I should dress "sexy". But that's just not me. My clothes are still attractive and stylish, and I also get compliments as well
There nothing wrong with girls wanted to be sexy either wear fitting tight clothes y’all have this negative narrative that when females dress provocative or sexy we are a bad person or a promiscuous we’re not we just love ourselves and our body what wrong with that
Dressing modestly is a personal choice that can vary based on individual preferences and cultural or religious beliefs. If you're looking for guidance on how a woman can dress modestly, here are some general tips: Covering the shoulders: Opt for tops or dresses with sleeves or consider layering with a cardigan or a lightweight jacket. Choosing modest necklines: Select tops or dresses with higher necklines, such as crew necks, boat necks, scoop necks, or collared shirts. Selecting longer hemlines: Opt for skirts, dresses, or shorts that fall at or below the knee. Avoid excessively short or tight-fitting clothing. Avoiding sheer fabrics: Choose clothing made from thicker fabrics that provide more coverage and are less see-through. Dressing comfortably: Prioritize comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely without worrying about constantly adjusting or feeling exposed. Balance and proportion: Aim for outfits that strike a balance between loose and fitted. Consider loose-fitting tops paired with more fitted bottoms, or vice versa, to maintain a modest yet fashionable appearance. Mindful of tightness: While clothing doesn't have to be oversized, avoiding overly tight or body-hugging garments can help maintain a modest look. Emphasizing personal style: Modesty doesn't mean sacrificing personal style. Experiment with colors, patterns, and accessories to express your individuality within the boundaries of modesty. Consider layering: Layering can add versatility to your wardrobe while providing additional coverage. Pair a camisole or a long-sleeved top under sleeveless dresses or tops. Cultural and religious considerations: If you have specific cultural or religious guidelines, make sure to adhere to them while choosing your clothing. Seek advice from trusted sources within your community or religious institution if needed. Remember, these are general guidelines, and what constitutes modest dressing can vary among individuals and cultures. It's essential to respect and understand the specific modesty standards and cultural norms that are meaningful to you or the community you belong to.
Thanks for the tips! I wanna dress modestly cause it's beautiful and I don't want others looking at my body for their own sexual gratification, and that's lust. Also, I am a Christian ✨and Jesus Christ really opened my eyes spiritually. Lust is NOT from God. LOVE IS FROM GOD. I want to be loved and not lusted after. Sooo now my heart's desire is to only uncover my body to God, myself, and my future husband. I'm hoping that anyone feels the same 😄Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life!
These videos are sooo helpful a d encouraging to see woman promoting modesty❤️❤️❤️❤️ I just want to ask are you by any chance a Christian? If so can u do a video about it? Love u and support ur content so much 👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏼❤️
This means you so much to me, thanks! 💜 yes I am Christian! I was thinking about doing a “modest principles I try to live by..” it would include scriptures that help me pick out my clothes.
Do you have any suggestions for those of us who are top heavy? I wear a J cup and for some reason that means everything must come in a very deep v. Even putting camis underneath are still revealing.
I think it’s fine to show one’s shape, or silhouette, just keep exposed skin to a minimum. I do wear above-knee skirts, but just above, nothing higher than below mid-thigh at the shortest. Being a petite makes this easier because most “mini” skirts and dresses are pretty close to knee-length on me. The worst thing is showing a lot of exposed bust. This is a difficult one for us petites, V-necks are the most flattering, but 80% or so of those available are just too deeply-cut. I avoid certain brands, like H&M, that are designed for tall women, with deep-cut necklines and super-long straps.
I’ve preferred to dress modestly all my life, I’m now 63. I think it came about from men staring at my figure, which developed much earlier than most girls’. Adult men were asking me out by the time I was 12. I referred them to my father, who sent them away with ringing ears! I’m naturally busty, which doesn’t help. So many American girls and women leave almost every visible, it’s embarassing.
I love that your father was a covering for you and acted as a barrier so that's not any old so-and-so can approach you. That raises the bar on personal value and worth. Fathers like these are what a lot of us are missing these days. My dad loves me and all, but he's not living for God so his standards are more slack than mine, especially in the area of sexuality and women.
Love the use of examples! I do find it interesting that you chose the see through dress from Meghan Markle though. 😂 it didn't show in the picture you used, but if you look at other pictures it was definitely not modest.
O out of curiosity, what solution do you have in mind for woken who aren’t believers and who div’t tend to dress modestly? Personally, I believe it’s a personal choice and that that’s how it should stay.

I’m not into this modesty dressing I’m okay the way I dress I love wearing tight and fitting clothing thank you I don’t need this I don’t want people making fun of me for looking frumpy I’m not interested
@Beautyglambybre: My father and brothers and boys I went to school with made fun of women who dressed like you. They said the women who need to dress sexy are crying for male attention because it's the only way they can get it. They said women who dress sexy are insecure about their value, and it sends the message that sex is all they have to offer a man, even if they don't ''put out." Modesty always wins. But hey -- you do you!! But if you wonder why you're attracting a certain kind of guy, and not the ones who want to bring you home to meet his parents -- now you know.
The video creator is also a Christian so she follows that standard. If you don't care about following Jesus of course it won't matter to you. Faithful Christian women try to dress in a way that emphasizes our face and inner beauty. We can look absolutely dazzling and feminine in the process.
