Every day since 2016 he’s been on my play list. 6 years later I’m in a better position in my life and will be seeing him live tomorrow in Chicago for the first time. I fell in love with someone on the beach. This entire song touches the most sensitive strings on my heart. I can’t help but continuously think about that very day & although we are in two different places today…. It’s still a beautiful memory that your song brings me back to. It lets me relive a beautiful bitter sweet moment. One that I wish would have last much longer than it did. Occasionally I still mourn - but it’s been years now and although I don’t want to let him go… I will hold onto to that memory & that will have to do I suppose .
