I've never laughed so hard XD I'm also surprised it made it through customs. Also I may be crazy but it looked like white fuzzy mold on top of the chocolate bar with the worm
The white stuff on top that looked like mold was some kind of weird web the grub had made itself. I say grub because I didn't investigate further to see if it was grubs plural LOL. Congratulations you have the top comment on this video : )

Aaauuuggghhh!! So terribly, terribly sorry about that chocolate bar, Tam! I have no explanation for how that happened. I admire your bravery for being willing to continue with the other items in the taste test. Since the chocolate bar was made in Austria, purchased in the USA and mailed to Australia, I can't say for sure where the problem originated. My sincere apologies for the trauma you experienced.

I usually check things out more before I eat them and when I was editing the video I was surprised I didn't see the strangeness of it LOL oh boy.

Thank you John for sending Tam all those foods from around the world. Well, that certainly wasn't the surprise I was expecting for you Tam. I thought someone sent you another smurf or something else equally cute. It was still a really fun video to see foods from all over the world though. Were those chestnuts similar to the ones you tried in the Turkish taste test? Yes, we do have plantain banana chips here Tam, I'm just not a big fan of them.
Yes not quite as cute as a smurf. Yes the chestnuts were similar to the Turkish ones I tried, just can't get past the texture of them.

Oh Tam!! I just had a flashback of when I was about 18. I went to the grocery store and bought some milk duds (chocolate covered caramel balls) for the ride home. It was dark outside. I poured some of the candy in my hand and popped one in my mouth. As we drove under a street lamp, I looked down into the palm of my hand and there were about 5 of those disgusting creatures!!!! I haven't eaten a milkdud since.
My mother in law drove straight back to the grocery and the store manager not only reimbursed the candy, he reimbursed the entire grocery bill!
Well, once again you amaze me Tamara. Those Lancaster soft creams are more than just awesome, they are like you............ beyond awesomeness 😆.

I've bought a bag of almonds that had bugs in them and didn't realize it till I'd eaten a couple. Glad you didn't actually taste it first HA!
Love allsorts too I'm going to start saving those little candies with sprinkles out of my allsorts just for you : P Yes unfortunately bags of nuts and nuts in chocolates are just irresistible to some bugs, Oh well you ate some bug infested almonds LOL it's protein.

Those coconut honey crisps I'd love to try even if they make you fly off your chair lol not sold on those but things. The caramel swoosh looks cool really tasty. I'm not s fan of liquorice. Great taste test tam thumbs up x

Chestnuts are an acquired taste, but they are never crispy. You soak them in water, score the shell and bake them. I'm one of the weird people who love them...

Hi, yeah the caramels were delicious I think we get a lot of similar sweets to the UK here in Australia liquorice allsorts are fairly popular and naturally Cadbury's : )

I went to this discount store recently and bought coconut chips - have had them before - but I should of read the label closer - I was expecting sweet and got wasabi - they were awful.
LOL I've done that before purchased something expecting sweet and gotten savory or vice versa. I once got a green tea ice cream I thought it would be refreshing, it was so bitter not sweet in any way. I pretended to like it so my friend would try some...but they didn't buy my yum yum this is nice act.

That wasn't a weavel it was a maggot. There must have been flies sometime around the chocolate that layed eggs and hatched. I hope that you sprayed that room with insecticide so the maggot does not Multiply. Ewwww gross. The packaging must not have been air tight.
It would put you off chocolate for sure. I am pretty sure that brand of chocolate is available at Aldi though. I hope that their quality control is a bit better lol.
Yes that's it horrid little maggot I couldn't think of the word/name either way I was sufficiently freaked out. Never seen this chocolate at Aldi before but I don't think I'll go looking for it now LOL
