    Hello tam and Tim.
    In the UK we have milk bottle gummies as well as cola bottles. Both are delicious. I would love to try the old gold chocolate honeycomb and peanuts. Yum.

    Good video! Enjoyed the variety. I am surprised that Tam preferred the chocolate over the chips or crisps this time. Fun to watch you two play off one another. Thanks for the video! Y'all have a great week!

    For decades, at least in the US, people ate iodized salt because the iodine in it was to try to prevent thyroid issues and goiters. The various kinds of salt that aren't white table salt are due to various mineral traces in the salt that create the color. Those minerals are good for you. Himalayan salt specifically has trace amounts of magnesium, potassium, and calcium that make it pink. I love the Honey Barbecue chips. Smiths is owned by the American brand Lays, but they kept the country specific brand names to not lose customers.

  • @E2rd1994
    @E2rd1994 4 роки тому

    Himalayan salt is from Pakistan, from himalayan region. And the main difference is that it tastes less salty, is more subtle.
    Another hilarious video ☺ Love you guys and the happiness you emanate with! I gives great energy to your audience.
    Btw what is honeycomb? I don't think that anyone sells it in Poland

    • @DaveBartlett
      @DaveBartlett 4 роки тому +1

      Honeycomb is a crunchy caramel based toffee, made crunchy by adding bicarbonate of soda while the toffee is still boiling; it foams up, increasing it's volume and then when poured out onto a tray, it cools to produce a light brown, airy honeycombed toffee. It's known by different names around the world. In the part of England where I live, it's known as 'cinder toffee' because of it's resemblance to cinders. If you can get hold of any British Cadbury chocolate bars in Poland, try a 'Crunchie Bar' - that has a center of honeycomb/cinder toffee.

    Nice video, Tam and Tim! I think raspberry is not the most common flavor of jelly to pair with peanut butter in a PB&J sandwich here in America (grape and strawberry are more popular, I suspect), but chocolate, peanut butter and raspberry together might be nice. The iced coffee milk bottles would not get much enthusiasm from me, because a coffee-flavored gummy candy just sounds rather far-out to me. Both of those types of chips/crisps look appealing, though. Thanks for the taste-test!

    • @CheekyTam
      @CheekyTam  4 роки тому

      Thanks Yes here it is raspberry and strawberry that are most popular in jam. You are right it isn't common to have coffee flavoured gummy candy and I actually can't see them sticking around on the shelves for long as they would not be popular with kids Hope you are doing well.

    You can find Himalayan pink salt itself in Asian food stores. It features in different North Indian spice blends, (Chaat Masala springs to mind.) It has a very VERY pungent sulforous aroma, which gives just about everything you use it in, a background flavour of boiled eggs! 😝 What flavour does it give to potatoes, I wonder? 🤔

  • @artemismoon333
    @artemismoon333 3 роки тому

    This is from Wikipedia: “Himalayan salt is rock salt mined from the Punjab region of Pakistan. The salt, which often has a pinkish tint due to trace minerals, is primarily used as a food additive to replace refined table salt but is also used for cooking and food presentation, decorative lamps and spa treatments.”

    Pink and gray sea salts have 80 minerals in them and less sodium, which is why the are healthy. For example Ppl with anxiety or adrenal fatigue need more salt , so they are recommended to drink these salts in water + potassium and magnesium

    • @CheekyTam
      @CheekyTam  4 роки тому

      Thanks for this information, I had no idea about the benefits of Pink and gray salts. People with anxiety hmmm...that's me

      @@CheekyTam for anxiety I highly recommend reading about MTHFR mutation, most ppl who have anxiety all their life have it and can get rid of it by taking the vitamins that are recommended. something that helps immediately and is natural are Bach flowers.- especially for panic attacks

    Have you heard of the story of chips? A chef cooked potatoes for too long just to get revenge on an obnoxious customer. But the latter liked it so much, and chips were born.
    We call them crisps, BTW.
