Xanthomelon jannellei - Cape York Melon Snail

The first rains of the season at Weipa. Toads hopped out from under logs, ornate frogs burrowed up by the dozen and of course the Cape York Melon Snails popped up in a frisky mood. Some chilled out under the waning moon while others tangoed the night away. Warning - long video with adult snail content.
