in the 90s a buddy pressed "print" on the church office printer and whalla: al shapton is "a" reverend. so what sharpton says MUST be the word of god and therefore you, me, america and the media must follow what he says as the word of god on earth.

I want to know who on his staff thought that going to the NABJ conference was a good idea? His decision to stick to his greatest hits in a crowd that knows how many of those talking points are lies is astounding. He didn't even try to shift gears. Deciding not to address the "What are Black Jobs?" question was the only moment I could see him use his brain. (I think we can be sure that in a different crowd he would have answered that question.)

There is a simple solution for journalists' inability to fact check in real time. Simply insist that Trump jprovide his source for each of his factual assertions. He won't be able to do it because his facts typically are made up. After just a few requests fou non-existent sources, he'll go all Captain Queeg. It will be ugly. (Google Captain Queeg, The Caine Mutiny, Humphrey Bogart if you are too young to recognize this reference.).
