suppressed job opportunities and home appraisals in black neighborhoods; the latter amounting to $156

regarding great replacement theory and deceit regarding critical race theory. You discriminate against

I'll never forget being in Florida back in 2004 waiting with my Grandma at the time was 81 years old, they made us wait for three to four hours and the sad part is that it wasn't even crowded. I will never forget what this white lady told me, she said " You people have to come back to vote tomorrow, today is for Republicans to vote". My Grandma died years later at almost 90, but i will go out and vote until i can't anymore. I watch Her go vote since i was a child and no matter what they told her, she stayed there until she got to vote until she couldn’t anymore. The last time she got to vote was for President Obama... She Passed away Feb 8, 2013 at almost 90 years old.

I live in one of the, if not THE, most gerrymandered states in our union (NC). I’m not Democratic or Republican nor am I a Biden fan but listening to Sen. Booker is making me question the Republican Party motives. I’m all for being fair and I’m all for policies. I was one to say what’s the big deal about ID. Now that I’m hearing and understanding these laws I get the hypocrisy and unfair laws.

They've waited hours, had to take busses due to closed polling places. While in my neighborhood I get a letter telling which location in MY neighborhood has a polling place. The disparity is criminal!!

Fellow AF veteran here and this pisses me off. It’s a shame that they have to do these tactics, in order to win an election.
The goal is to extend voting, not necessarily to make anyone wait. This happens in areas controlled by democrats in high democrat/black area’s. Biden’s margin of victory in a Georgia was 11,000 votes, his margin in Fulton county (run by democrats and where there was a long wait due to a fake water main break in the Omni) was 200,000 votes. He needed all of the large margin in that one place to win the state. So be careful of the hand you hold.

I’m Caucasian and I’m in the South and I agree about how the line to vote was 5 hours. This was just early voting. When I vote again, I will vote early and am willing to stand in line 24 hours to vote Trumpers out of office.

But I'm pissed that anyone has to stand in more than 30 mins. It is very sad that we're still having these same arguments from 50 years ago. Not 1965 but 1975 during my first vote. I registered and voted the same day and finished 4 hours later.
@@Emk315 i agree with you to a point about standing in voting lines with all nationalities of people, but there is no explanation that the implementation of all these voting laws changes came into effect after Trump legitimately lost the election. Had he won the last presidential election, i highly doubt Republicans would be scampering to change any voting laws. Their only doing this to stack the odds in they're favor.

@@Emk315 You may have missed the point. He didn't say in ONLY BLACK areas. There are Liberal Whites who live near Black and Brown people who get screwed as well.
Red voting areas here in AR have areas that have more polling places, their machines work, and waiting times are walk-in vote and leave. There were 11 hour wait times and there were White Folks in the Lines in ATL as well. Meanwhile, White GA voters didn't wait hours. GA did NOTHING to fix the long lines in the Blue areas.
