1:35 Oh my gosh Ryu looks SO FREAKIN GOOD with his original outfit doing that Shoryuken!! But the biggest takeaway is just the options and possibilities I'm seeing from Ryu. I couldn't believe how some of these things were connecting!
Combos are great; as I have come to expect from desk. The Ryu music is an absolute banger and the video editing is beautiful. My favourite examples are 0:07 fist bump, 0:34 fadeout & fireball clash, 1:46 & 1:54 split screen & focus attack. The syncing of combo vid to music is _chef’s kiss_
Now that Desk finally got his hands on Street Fighter 6, I hope he'll make combo videos with custom characters. Just imagine that crazy stuff he'll lab with that much creativity.
Suggestion: In the occasion of the soon upcoming anniversary of SF4, a combo video about the SF4-6 history, maybe showing combos that can be done in all 3 games.

Someone please tell me what happened at 1:18 . Looked like Ryu parried/Drive Reversal'd into a jump cancel for the punish? This sequence made no sense to my monkey brain.
Ryu essentially landed a perfect parry, which gives you no frames of recovery. So he recovered immediately after the parry which is why he was able to jump almost instantaneously.
The legend...is here...still to this day the reason I started doing combo videos. The combination of musical talent and mechanical game knowledge is insane.

Desk is/was handicapped by not being able to play sf6 extensively before(beta), but damn his combos are still way ahead of everybody else's. His ability to breakdown game mechanics and system is really on a different level.
It was only at 3:02 that I noticed perfect music alignment with combos. One would wonder if the music is composed just-in-time, or it is mainly the montage.
@desk What’s the secret to getting the LK to connect in the first combo? I’ve tried spacing, delaying the drive rush-back HP-fireball. Ken always floats too high for me and LK whiffs.

The pushback from the jump in sequence makes the drive rush be naturally delayed in order for the back HP to connect which makes the light fireball whiff cause of the extra start up frames. At least for me. I’ve recorded myself and matched it frame for frame with Desks combo. I wonder if it’s been patched.
Can you smell what Nakayama and Matsumoto are cooking? I smell the best Street Fighter game ever made. Respect where its due to Ono for reviving SF4, only that.
They seem to be most optimal as round enders, so that's probably where you'll see them most. Burnout increases recieved blockstun, and if I'm not mistaken it was by (+4) frames, which sounds dangerous, depending on a character's frame data. So putting yourself in this state may not be optimal, but I assume there will be exceptions of course
its crazy seeing wall bounces, crumple states, and now tumbles? in a Street Fighter. i dont know what else to call that animation where you send the opponent rolling back and is still able to be hit by a Hadouken.

These Drive Rush follow ups are really a much better versions of FADCs. It allows more skill expression
