- In todays trout fishing video I'm back out at Pyramid Lake in Nevada trying to locate those monster Lahontan Cutthroat trout. This time I will be using Golden State Fishing Custom Baits 4" Super Tubes with the GSF Pro Staff. Not only did the GSF Super Tubes work well, they fooled some absolute monster sized trout. Lets see how it all turned out.
In this video you will see the techniques I use to regularly catch trout including; how to fish mini jigs, how to fish spoons, how to fish the double dropshot, and tips and tricks for using bait set ups for trout.

LOVE IT 👏👏👏👏
Video came out 🔥🙌🏽🎣 great job brotha
Thanks brother. It was a great trip 🤘
On the 4” tube baits did you use 1/8 or 1/4oz on your trips to Pyramid Lake. Thanks
We were all using the 1/8oz on this trip
Dammmm!!! Art caught a beast!! That was an awesome day of fishing. Thanks for sharing. That lake made my list of spots to try. Thanks brother.
Thanks Chuck. Yeah that was an awesome experience watching Art bring that thing in. I highly recommend getting up there and giving it a try 🤘
Sweet video, and the size of those fish are amazing!! Yeehaaa!!!
Thanks Lee. They really are unlike any other trout I’ve caught. So strong 🤘
Man that looks like fun. Inspiring video with beautiful shots. Nice work!
Thanks Aaron. It really is an awesome place to fish. Very grateful to get to make a trip up there
Wish it wasn't so damn far from So. Utah. Catch everything in Utah on 4 lb test. Probably ain't gonna work there.😊
Yeah you need 8-10lb test out there but it’s definitely doable. They are still just trout, really big and very strong but still just trout. Hopefully you can make the trip out sometime. It really is an amazing place 🤘
I'm glad that I met you at bart hall show Saturday.
Thanks John. It was great getting to meet you 🤘
Those are very nice Cutthroat trouts Rob! 🎣🐟 Awesome trip you had!👍
Thanks Paul 🙏
The California trout season over?
luarbiasa reelnya sampai menjerit-jerit... hasilnya wow... 👍👍👍
The sound of a screaming reel truly is the best sound 🤘
Nice fishing good job men nice video
Thanks Noe 🙏
Hahaahahah Rob I’m laughin…ya’ll are like “Yeah, it’s not a toad, 7lber maybe. But still a good fish”.
7lber…..hahahaah 😂 I love it. This is a whole new level!!!
Haha just wait till we get out there. Its gonna be epic 🤘
Gotta say Pyramid HAS to be on my "bucket" list for places to fish.😀👍 Also, noticed...y'all were using Gorilla step ladders in part of this vid, no?🤔 Was that for getting out there a bit further er cuz of the bottom terrain?🤔 Whatever the case maybe, GORGEOUS CATCHES MAN! I mean SERIOUSLY...DAAAAAAMN!!!🤯 Lovin the vidz as always and plz keep em comin. Peace ✌😎
Thanks John 🙏, yeah you gotta get out there. It was indeed a gorilla step ladder I was using. If you are using spinning gear its not 100% necessary you use one. A few of the beaches are really shallow and need to get out to where the drop off is as thats where the fish ambush the chubs. It really helps more if your fly fishing with the casting. The majority of places to fish you don’t need the ladders its just an option
Goals!! tired of the dinks haha from Jess ranch
Absolutely, you gotta get out there 🤘
Great video, Pyramid Lake, Nevada looks like a beautiful place. I had a question if you can on the glasses...do you recommend the Mineral Glass or the Hue View Technology ones?
Both models I currently wear are the Hue View and I really love them both. I haven’t tried the Mineral Glass yet simply due to the price and I have a tendency to be hard on my sunglasses haha. The mineral glass is also something that is more designed to be set to your eye glasses prescription as I understand it. But that doesn’t mean I wont get some eventually. The price difference is $139 vs $299
@@SeaSpankerOutdoors Thank you for the information. Appreciate all the videos and tips.
I'm going to DVL tomorrow in the rain 🌧️ any suggestions with colors or anything to try in the cloudy conditions???? Thanks rob !
Usually more natural colors work well in that clear water 🤘
Amazing catches. I tend to get some windknot when using 10lb Daiwa J-Braid x8. After spraying some WD40 on the line in the reel, it seem improves. Do you have any tips not to get any windknot?
No, I wish I did. Its just part of the game I think when using braid
What beach is that when you catch the 15 pounder
It was out at Popcorn
