Wearingeul's Secret Garden is a beautiful springtime riff on this with a pinky shimmer and lighter sage base. I love both. I tried Autumn Forest in a fine nib which just wrote in green.
Thank you for the review. I’ve had a full bottle in my cart for a couple days, undecided. Your swatch reminds me of Robert Oster Schwartz Rose, which has a darker green and purple-ish shimmer. 💚💜
I just bought this ink today as it has finally been re-stocked at pure pens. Super excited for it. It reminds me a bit of Vinta's Piloncitos which I also have. But the pinkish shimmer sold me on this one. Can't wait for it to arrive. Thank you for the review, great as always. 😊
The chromatography is really surprising, I’m with you; I want some of the blue on that strip. I got a bottle of the ink after you unboxed the Yoseka haul and I love it. I’m still trying to find the best pens for it, but it’s been working pretty well in my Franklin-Christoph with a fine cursive italic. Try it on some of the Well-Appointed Desk’s Vintage Typewriter paper. The colour is really deep on that paper.
i ordered a bottle of this IMMEDIATELY you monster. Okok I’m glad you reviewed it-a weird yellowy green with pink/rose gold? Must have=yes and would have kicked self hard if it disappeared or something before i got at least one bottle into my house
I'm often surprised by the chromatography of inks, this one is no exception. I haven't had many inks yet which perform differently depending on nib and paper but I always wonder what exactly causes it. Is it a reaction between the paper and the ink? Or just simply how much ink is put onto the paper by the pen?
I think it's how the paper and the ink interact, but also how the ink is put on the paper by the nib. Sometimes it doesn't make much of a difference, but sometimes it really does.
Diamine Safari's (occasionally) crazy cousin!

That sounds really fun. I have Wearingeul Path, which I think might be a similar color, but I haven't used it yet.

Thanks! I hope it is all you're hoping for. I haven't used that Vinta yet. I should really try out some of their inks.
Just bought it and waiting for it to show up!
I hope you love it! It's such an interesting ink.
Awesome! Thanks! Yoseka here I come.
Enjoy! Tell them I sent ya. :-D
