Great vlog! I did the same thing at Dominant Industry last November. It was a lot of fun, and May has captured the experience very nicely! Mr. Lee is a fantastic host and provides all of the tools for a great (and potentially very messy) afternoon. I also liked that you mentioned the tranquility of Paju. It is an awesome little neighborhood, and it's only an hour on public transportation from where most people visiting Seoul would be staying. We loved it!
Love both the colors that you made. They both would look great in my Benu Euphoria Bourbon and the other in my Benu Amber Briolette.!! Did your sister Joy enjoy making her own ink colors as well.??
I learned so much from this video! I would very interested in learning more about how to use the clear base for getting different effects since Birmingham pen company and others are now selling Monotonic and similar products. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. Your caffeinated inks are beautiful browns.
Cortado and Espresso, that’s so cool! Thank you for sharing this 😊

Cortado in Spanish means cut, and it refers to cutting the milk with coffee until you get roughly half & half. It's originally from Buenos Aires and Montevideo, and it's very popular in Argentine & Uruguay. I'm surprised to see it gaining popularity in other countries like UK and USA. LOVED the video and it's always great to see the manufacturers' places and cities. Thank you!
so beautiful! Might you visit any of the other excellent new Korean inkmakers? I think Wearingeul is a Korean company (apologies if I am wrong on that) whose inspirations have been very eclectic, from poetic literature to world religions to webtoons.
Hi Katie! Neil here! May had to go back home to Korea in short notice. I'm very happy and proud of her that she took the initiative to find time during her personal days off to visit our friends at Dominant Industry. At Yoseka, we encourage our team to try out new projects and find fun projects to work on. I understand how a short video might make you feel that way, but I also want to share this background. Thank you!
I did the same thing at Dominant Industry last November. May's vlog does a great job of showing the entire experience from start to finish. I had a great time making a couple of inks, and you can see that May and her sister did, as well. Mr. Lee, the owner of Dominant Industry is a wonderful host. He gives you all of the tools to enjoy creating an ink, and explains the basics of what you are to do there. The experience is not designed to make you an expert at creating inks. It's designed to allow you to have fun creating an ink of your own. May's vlog very clearly shows you every step of the process they offer. She did an excellent job of showing the experience. If you get an opportunity to try it, it's a very fun afternoon.
So nice to see. Maybe we can get a Dominant Industry Yoseka Exclusive soon 😊
Thanks so much for taking us along with you and your sister to Dominant Industry! Your inks are just gorgeous and it was fun to see the process!

Great ink choices Mae. And thanks for taking us along. Their store appeared as a very natural esthetic and calming experience.

Thank you for watching Silvia!! Glad you enjoyed May's adventure :)
@@Yoseka Welcome! Hope there are more vids like this one in the future! :D
Sounds like a cool city with book cafes. Nice vibe in the ink library. Never tried DI ink before but it seems popular.
Gorgeous inks I've just bought 2 from cult pens and am buying more, beautiful packaging as well
What?! You guys are in Korea?! And Dominant Industry was a Korean brand?😮😮😮 yay🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Hahah May was in Korea a couple of weeks ago :) Yes, Dominant Industry is Korean!
This is great-thank you for sharing!
Awesome thx for sharing. ❤❤

No plans yet but maybe next time :)
Looked like fun GALS.. btw I still hear an echo in your new studio.. thanks for showing the ink process.
How do you schedule a visit?
You can DM them on Instagram to schedule! :)
Wow, so beautiful. Is it possible to visit without speaking Korean?
It's definitely easier if you speak Korean but you can try messaging them directly on IG to set up an appointment if you don't speak/read Korean :)
Did I hear you speaking Korean?!!
Yes, May speaks Korean!
This was a wasted opportunity. The vlog could have been so much more interesting but it showed barely anything.
