You can filter by lens. If you use the search bar rather than the filter, type lens: and you get a drop own of lenses used in that album. This works with some other things as well like iso:

Great video, as always. Keen to see your editing video as I’ve always liked the consistent style of your images. I find my image edit style all over the place.

This is really perfect timing. Ive never really used Lightroom to organise my photos, maybe im just thick but found it confusing. Ive just stuck with apple photos, and Hard drives, The new apple photos update is just a joke now and hate it. You made lightroom more understandable so I will look to give this a go. Cheers 👍

Perfect. So glad that was good timing and it helps. OMG I am so glad the new Apple photos update isn’t just me. It’s the worst ☠️ I can’t find anything….

I’m still trying to work out a workflow that is primarily based on Lightroom Classic but also allows for occasional imports via ipad. I find it frustrating that the nomenclature isn’t standardised across versions.

I’m with you. It’s really clunky! I think hence my almost departure from Classic as I import on the go too often. Was becoming very messy and hard to manage!

Great video! When do you feel comfortable to delete the images on the SD card? Also, do you have the same process on the iPad and MacBook? I use both devices too and found it difficult to keep the process the same regardless of device. Thanks!

Great work, Hannah. TBH I've let my LR go unchecked for a while, so your video is well timed for me. You also have a new subscriber. p.s. I'm also v interested in your editing procedure. Take care, Lawrie.

I have two (only two?) gripes with Lightroom. First, I use both Classic, Mobile and CC and I wish it was easier to have them use a common location for files (maybe it is but I don’t know?). Second, over years and years I have stored files in folders sorted by date shot. Most are stored on a local 5TB SSD drive and back-up elsewhere. It would be nice to completely rebuild my directory/library in a more logical way - but I have a fear of doing that… 😅

100% with you on the Classic plus CC issue. It is not remotely seamless. Please let’s hope for an improvement on this front. Years ago I sorted everything by date and then slowly transitioned to naming folders by place/trip/event etc. I didn’t like not having it all matching but eventually just rolled with it. Daunting project though….

Thanks Hannah, very helpful as I am shifting to working more in Mobile. One small suggestion: when you move to a new screen in your demonstration you tend to very quickly say where you are selecting a menu item and it is quickly gone from the screen as you move on. Perhaps if you were to add a few qualifiers, for example then at the top, or bottom I select ‘app settings’ otherwise I am condemned to pausing, rewinding and pausing again to see where the item was that you selected. I will subscribe and look forward to more videos.
