why this wasn't a number one back in the mid 80's I've no idea.
The shortest answer is ..... They weren't 'mainstream enough, also it was the metamorphosing 1980's and western musicality meeting ethnic musicality was still in its formative stage for another decade yet !!!
Better than unexpected. My only critique was the tuba was a bit much. All the other instruments I enjoyed.
