I finally did it! Here's a tutorial for 2 different ways of throwing cards. There are many ways, use what works for you. If you'd like to know more about throwing cards, I would check out anything Rick Smith JR does (His channel link's below) also "Cards as Weapons" and straight up practice.

The first grip is greatest, I practiced for 30 min and was able to throw it into an apple. It looks hard but you’d be surprised how hard and fast you can throw.

Tried this in physics class a few years ago. Ended up hitting the whiteboard right next to my teacher from the back of the room. Was awesome but there were better ways to spend my lunchtime right afterwards.

I came here after a book I was reading. One of the characters was an expert at card throwing, and actually used a steel deck of cards as a weapon, which is probably the best weapon I have ever seen. Brilliant tutorial!

I’ve heard many “thanks for all the support” videos. Either an entire UA-cam video or just as a part of one, like yours being at the end, and I’ve got to say: it was definitely the most sincere one!!! I believe you really meant everything you said. And most other ones I’ve seen have all been very “cookie cutter”/ generic and didn’t feel like they meant it. They felt more forced, or scripted almost. Like some formality that creator felt obligated to do for some reason. It really resonated with me, so thank you! :D

Also I love your channel outside of the magic bits. I love the production, design, and the whole vibe. You're doing it right. To me it feels like you've taken some of the best bits of great youtube channels(Neistat, MKBHD, Defranco), but also have your own twist and personality binding it together. Now that I explain how I found this, I have to say this lol. I have been doing that finger snap and method of throwing cards my whole life. I can smack things and get people to say it stings, but I've never gotten your kind of force. I find it funny I never knew card throwing had it's own methods and techniques lol. I managed to teach myself by using a slightly different technique of resting the card corner on my finger with the length of the card reaching the bottom of my palm and whipping my hand out. It can work really well
