Tom- I am so glad you made it there! I had to laugh when I mentioned you were there and people were coming up to me asking "Where is Tom Gunn?" LOL Nobody has seen you! Funny story- I saw a young woman sitting in the stands and I said "Hi" she said "Hi, I'm Tom's wife" and I had no idea who she was talking about and I asked her "Where are you from?" she replied "Long Island" and then I was like "OH THAT TOM!!!!!" =D That show is so overwhelming, it is like when we were kids going into ToysRUs! Remember how awestruck we were? Besides the great deals on tools the people are so nice and everyone was smiling from ear to ear... It's a long drive for us but I wouldn't miss it for the world! Awesome video Tom... You scored some great stuff!
@@TomGunnTools You'll have to make another trip down for the Fall show. There'll be a bunch more engines running, plus the saw mill and the steam engine barn!
Wow! What a score and so cool to hangout out with all the UA-cam legends 😃👍 i hope to someday meet SCOUTCRAFTER and 357MAGDAD in person. Thanks for sharing! ARCO
Those Williams pliers look like they’ve had a pair of Klein Koats put on them. There’s a chance that Klein made them for Williams but my guess is that someone liked the pliers and just put some Klein handle grips on them!
Williams are Excellent USA Made Tools . They Actually Make Tools for Other Companies . Nobody makes Them for Them . I Agree Those are Klein Koats on There.
I always like the Gimmicky Stuff so that adjustable wrench is my favorite................Craftsman did a few laminated tools, they also had the Robo-Grip and Clench Wrenches (which I have) that were made the same way as your pliers.
Nice choice of tools, some great deals. My favorite is that cute little Channel lock 47G nos pliers. Looking forward to the perfect handle screwdriver restoration.
Those craftsman lame nated pliers were the first try in cost reduction by cutting out pre hardened plate and squeezing them together kinda like what tekton is trying with their wrenches
I’m confused on why they would design the head the way it is, not sure how it would be beneficial have both sides the same. Also can seem to identify the maker as of yet even though it has a partial name and logo. Either way it is very cool!
Fantastic lot of tools there, I especially like the long Snap-Ons. You certainly spent up but it must be a great place to go and it looked like fun! Thanks for sharing, All the best
I’d love to come out to the Jacktown Show in the near future. Would also be nice to meet you and John (ScoutCrafter) and perhaps do some collaboration.
You’re going to have a monopoly on Sk ratchets 😂😂😂 when people want one you’ll be able to charge whatever you want for one! Also those snap on pliers are a great score!! I have the bent needle nose model and they’re so handy. Good score!
It wouldn’t be a successful tool haul without buying a SK tool set 🤣. However I gotta admit that Snap-On ratchet is my favorite! Congrats on hitting over 3k subs! Well deserved😀👍!
It was great meeting you! You got some nice stuff and I picked up a few items also, coincidentally one being a Bridgeport tomahawk crate opener for $3. Needs new wood scales but I will take care of that. Thanks for the video.
you found some very special things it's always good to find the things your looking for 👍🖐😁🇨🇦 wish I could have went I will be going to the Barrie automotive flea market in the fall hear in Canada
Thanks for your videos. I’m really enjoying them as I’ve recently gotten back into hitting the estate sales and garage sales. Your videos really help me navigate some of the stuff I don’t know when picking through and I’ve learned a lot.
The snap on ratchet is from the 50s the one from the 80s look the same as today chrome handle they all have date codes the old craftsman 1/2 is cool as well and can't beat the SK ratchets they look like when they were owned by dressler
You got some great stuff Tom like you always do. I’d bet money that’s a real H.D. Smith Perfect Handle screwdriver. I like those Craftsman riveted layered tools. They are great users. Take care 😃👍🏼
Great haul, like pretty much everything. I think the perfect handle screwdriver is an HD smith(USA), I only know this because I picked one up at a flea market today, look for it being marked ‘Perfect handle sixty’ half way down the shaft when you clean it up!, nice & solid screwdrivers👍
Some pretty good finds there! Ive always liked SK tools. I saw you at the meet and greet up there. I meant to say hello but it was so busy I missed you.
Some Good Tools There. Remember Those 36 Tooth Ratchets are Tough . My Favorite ! That's Why They're Still Around . Not Sure 90 and 100 tooth will be in 50 years.

Haha, my wife is a trooper for sure, I’m very lucky. ToysRUs is a great analogy! I definitely was a kid in a candy store!
You, Mike and the Road King in your element!

That’s my dad’s favorite as well. It’s actually pretty well made and functional. I have playing with it the last few days. 👍🔧

Men your the men for all vintage tools
Thanks Fernando!
My favorite is the William`s pliers with the Klein Koats! The Snapon ratchet gets runner up.
That ratchet is definitely one of my favs. I’m going to give it a nice clean up!
Nice choice of tools, some great deals. My favorite is that cute little Channel lock 47G nos pliers. Looking forward to the perfect handle screwdriver restoration.

You got a super haul Tom. I saw a lot of items I liked. The Perfect Handle winged screwdriver was a great bargain.
I figured you would appreciate that!
Great haul Tom. Was a pleasure meeting you.
Same Wire, always great making new friends with the same interests.
Those craftsman lame nated pliers were the first try in cost reduction by cutting out pre hardened plate and squeezing them together kinda like what tekton is trying with their wrenches
That makes sense thanks Craig!
Love that French type adjustable wrenchI am still watching the video
I’m confused on why they would design the head the way it is, not sure how it would be beneficial have both sides the same. Also can seem to identify the maker as of yet even though it has a partial name and logo. Either way it is very cool!
Looking at the item I am sure it is made in France and definitely it is not a copy.
That Snap-On FR-42 ratchet has a very interesting double pawl design. Nice find 👍
Looks tricky to open up. Looking forward to cleaning it up. Seems to be pretty rare.
Love it when the backpack gets that full...even if it takes a couple of days to recover...lots of cool treasures...Thumbs Up!!
Hahah, yes!
Great haul Tom, The wheel dressing tool has a very nice look to it 🔧👍😊
Thanks Sparky!
Super Haul!

I’m not sure who made those pliers for sk, but they look very similar to diamond horseshoe company snap ring pliers

Indeed Wayne!
Ok Tom, you gotta let me buy that Snap-on ratchet (roundhead) from you!!
She is a bute!
15:36 that guy 🤣
Hahah you know those guys Kent. Lol!
Cool finds! That's funny but I bought exactly the same winged Perfect Handle No 8 screwdriver in Jacktown.
That’s awesome, hopefully yours is in better shape!
Hey viewers, Lets pony up and get Tom a bigger bakpack....
On that perfect handle- I wonder if it a 9, rather than a 6 -- meaning 9 inch blade, (Excluding the handle length)?
Good thought, could be.
I have one of those red devil utility knives but I’ve never come across blades. Anyone know a source for the blades?
I got lucky, mine has a brand new pack inside!
