- Today, we are hiking down to a waterfall to do some fishing! Everything lives beneath this waterfall, but we are hoping to catch a big catfish! To make things interesting we will be targeting all of the fish today on micro fishing rods! I go to a couple of high mountain brooky ponds with the oversized ball point pen rods and have a ball ,, can't believe what fun it is .!! ... Great video .... Stay Safe ......

I love you both for how excited you get for every fish! I am the same way and I cherish each catch so much. I often take my dock demon (short rod) out with me on the kayak and this year caught my 2nd biggest LM bass ever on it, thought it was going to break my rod!
Dock Demons are GREAT. I gifted mine to a poor, retired friend of the family, along with another rod. I might repurchase one.

Normally, I would keep and eat these, however due to that location, I would set them free. Someone may need them one day in a survival situation. Keep it Real and clean. I respect you for that.

That looks like so much fun..I love hiking along small streams and finding 'honey holes'. Some years ago biked on a trail along a stream..brought my fly rod with me. Found a hole beneath a waterfall very similar to the place in this video. I was using a black 'wooly bear' fly caught fish every cast mostly big fat rock bass and a couple of small rainbow trout. And there was a big water snake sunning itself by the pool..I left it alone. I have a 'micro rod' too much easier to pack along on hikes and bike trips. Fun video thanks for posting.
