Just watching you always makes me smile. You have the best energy! I think I'm going to buy some of that matcha as a gift for myself. ❤
This makes me happy to hear! The world needs more smiles 🌎😁 I hope you enjoy the matcha. It oxidizes quickly at room temperature so be sure to press out as much air as you can after each use and seal it well, then store it in the fridge. 💚
great gift ideas, i would definitely appreciate any of these as gifts (esp the nice japanese knife)! i actually just bought my household some nice bamboo chopsticks this morning from a bamboo retailer's warehouse sale nearby :)
Hahaha, maybe you can drop hints for people around you😉 I love bamboo chopsticks because they tend to be so light, enjoy them!
So beautiful things there!!!
Thanks! There's a lot more that I love, particularly from Musubi Kiln, but I couldn't fit them all in a video 😅
Amazing gift ideas! I love everything that you have suggested.
Take care,
Annette 🌺
Thanks Annette, just heard you made some videos about your trip to Japan. Sorry I haven't been dropping by your channel much lately, but I'm off to go check them out. I've never been to Kochi!
@@NoRecipes it’s all good! You are a busy guy. Appreciate you stopping by. 🌺
Woohoo was baking Christmas cookies & thought I missed it😜
Good luck with the baking! The weather's suddenly cooled off over the weekend so I suspect I'll be doing a lot more baking too!
Hello Marc those are some pretty fantastic and I want to wish you and your happy holidays may have one for and a very prosperous your friend in southern Nevada Nicholas😊😊
Thanks Nicholas, I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season!
oh maaaan thanks for reminding me about the grating spoon! I eye it jealously in all your vids. And you sold me re: chopsticks the moment you said "dishwasher safe." Too many of my Daisou purchases have been lost to its watery depths :( When you unwrapped the turnip dish, though, I was lowkey hoping for a NoRecipes cookbook!!!!
You're welcome! The chopsticks are dishwasher safe in that putting them in the dishwasher periodically won't hurt them, but if you want them to stay shiny and free of scratches just be careful not to put them next to any hard metal utensils or they'll get scratched up over time. As for a cookbook, no plans right now, but if it even happens I'll announce it here😅
Hi u are totally ready for Christmas ⛄ I don't have a 🎄, woooow interesting knowledge about matcha 🍵 thanks.
We usually get our tree up after Thanksgiving, but we put it up a few days early this year🎅🏼
@@NoRecipes oh ok glad u have one.
Giving this a second run, because I arrived late! haha
Thanks man, hope you're doing well!
@@NoRecipes Meh...it is what it is, eh?
Which is the song at the beginning? Now i have it on loop in my head 😅
Are you referring to the tune I was humming? If so, it's called "My Favorite Things" which was originally in The Sound of Music, but these days it's become a Christmas tune. As for the first background music track, it's from Epidemic Sound and is called "The Gift of Giving".
Ouch! I wanted to buy my in-laws in Japan the ¥2500 tea, but shipping is ¥3500! Something must be wrong, intra Japan shipping is usually cheap.
I think you have to use the Japanese website to get local shipping rates: dmatcha.jp
Hmm, I'm considering taking a pair of those shell inlay chopsticks for my food photos as I am currently updating Americanized Japanese recipes that mesh more with a sugary or salty palette that can still stay within Japanese style. Musubi Kiln is definitely the right place to go in this matter. Thanks again, Marc and No Recipes, for allowing us with that 5% coupon.
You're welcome!
