The Cliffs at Harlem rents out pads, I sent them an email. I emailed CRG Manhattan and their general manager replied saying that he rents out his 2 personal pads, not sure if the gym itself rents pads.
@hunter-tm2kl Good to know. Thanks for looking into that. When I was at the Manhattan CRG just before heading to Central Park I saw at least 6 crash pads behind that staircase that looked heavily used. CRG looks like a shorter walk if you plan on climbing on the South end of Central Park.
@uselesswoodentoy3690 I think you could get away with NO pads at Rat Rock for sure. They're pretty small problems and the landing was pretty soft even without pads. Some of the other areas we went to wouldn't be doable without a pad. There seems to always be some other people there climbing too, so if your friendly I'm sure they would share.
As always awesome video! 1,000 views in 1 day! You are crushing it with your videos 🦾... in part it's your awesome edits but also maybe because I'm a "kids channel" I don't get that many views... I think "kids only" video's don't get recommended to adults. 🥲
Is there anywhere I CAn rent pads around the area while I’m staying near Central Park?
Central Rock Gym in Manhattan had ALOT of really used pads laying around the gym. They might rent them out?

@@ChrisGranata how necessary are pads for Central Park? I’ve seen people hit rat rock no pads on smaller problems that had pebbles on ground
