I'm so happy you didn't untangle Marie Antoinette's hair before the video! Most hair brushing video already have perfectly smooth hair, and it's not as satisfying.
OMG RIGHT?! I will never understand why “pre-brushing” the hair is even a thing lol. When the video starts with the hair already perfectly smooth, I often find the sounds to be somewhat repetitive and not as satisfying as brushing the tangles, where the sounds change (from knotted and a bit rough to soft and smooth) if that makes sense. So I couldn’t agree more that this was absolutely fantastic. Also those antique brushes are just divine.
a friend of mine gave me a precious tip: always start with the ends and take scalp at last, this helps to detangle faster with lesser hairfall or breaks. Just a tip to someone who might find it useful 😌
Because my hair aches the top of my butt I do this. It gets tangled so easily. So I start from the bottom to the top of my hair and hold it sections to do it easier. Another tip I should on to the hair tightly when brushing out the tangles to relief some pain as detangling can be lightly painful.

So many ASMR videos are satisfied with simply standing in front of their camera at the same angle without any variation, while you really play with the cameras, giving us various angles, close-up, etc. It really helps elevate your videos to a cinematic experience. Great work! I can only imagine how long it takes you to find the perfect angle for each shot and the editing involved.
As the eldest, with 3 younger sisters in a house where girls had to have their hair long, this reminds me of all the years of slowly working through tangled hair very carefully. I didn’t even realize I missed it until this video brought back all those memories.

Because the majority of the population isn’t into (or even knows about) ASMR! Not every single human being has discovered ASMR.. yet. That’s why channels don’t do as well as we all expect. I believe ASMR to be in its infancy currently.
Another detail I love from Diane: how the heads are placed/angled so it is not obvious it is a mannequin. This way, it is easier to trick our brains into the “mirroring” effect, and immerse ourselves better into the Moonlight Cottage experience. 😍🥱👌🏽

I know it’s to serve immersion in the epoch of your ASMRs, but I love and appreciate the “natural” look of your fingernails. With most ASMRs, the ladies go for overly long, fake nails that I imagine would feel gross on my scalp compared to soft fingertips with just a pleasant, small tip of a nail.

Oh gosh, I'm only ten minutes in and I'm blissfully sleepy. You truly make outstanding content even when you try to be a bit more casual. Just a tip for you also if you do have trouble detangling your mannequins hair in the future. Mix one part fabric softener to ten parts water Into a spray bottle and spritz the hair down. Leave for 5 mins and then start to Comb from the bottom as you usually do. It always worked on my barbies and saved my life when I only had one mannequin head to last me for 2 years of studying hair and beauty 😊 thanks again for another lovely video.
I think with every hair style video she does she should make a second where she takes the style out and brushes/prepares the mannequin for another use. The hair brushing videos are one of my favorite. 🪮❤️

I've been listening to this before sleep a lot recently, and it's wonderful - thank you. I really enjoy your non-role-playing videos for that purpose; the roleplaying always stimulates my brain too much for me to fully relax I guess, but when it doesn't "involve me" it's just perfect!
Just wanted to pop in and say that if your wigs/artificial hair like this get a bit damaged from styling you can soak them in laundry softener (I know sounds silly & weird) but I had a collection of American girl dolls growing up & used to do this to the hair when it would get damaged from too much styling or brushing & it works wonders (just soak the ends of the wig though I never put it on the netting of their wigs as I think that could possibly damage that part) but as long as its just a prop of sorts this could help soften the hair again. You could also soak with any regular conditioner too but thats kinda common knowledge & I always preferred the laundry softener method.
I would love to see/hear a long video with this lady just talking or reading aloud. It could be anything, but I love her soft voice and accent (to an English speaker).

Hair brushing has always been my main trigger but I LOVE the clicks of the silver bristle brush! It’s so different and gives me hardcore tingles! Definitely one of my favorite things now and I hope to see it in future videos. Please don’t soak it! Love your channel!
The last part with the scalp massage always gives me the best tingles. I normally never get tingles, but that part gets me everytime. Would be amazing with a full video of just that. 🤩

Oh gosh, I'm only ten minutes in and I'm blissfully sleepy. You truly make outstanding content even when you try to be a bit more casual. Just a tip for you also if you do have trouble detangling your mannequins hair in the future. Mix one part fabric softener to ten parts water Into a spray bottle and spritz the hair down. Leave for 5 mins and then start to Comb from the bottom as you usually do. It always worked on my barbies and saved my life when I only had one mannequin head to last me for 2 years of studying hair and beauty 😊 thanks again for another lovely video.

I've been listening to this before sleep a lot recently, and it's wonderful - thank you. I really enjoy your non-role-playing videos for that purpose; the roleplaying always stimulates my brain too much for me to fully relax I guess, but when it doesn't "involve me" it's just perfect!

Just wanted to pop in and say that if your wigs/artificial hair like this get a bit damaged from styling you can soak them in laundry softener (I know sounds silly & weird) but I had a collection of American girl dolls growing up & used to do this to the hair when it would get damaged from too much styling or brushing & it works wonders (just soak the ends of the wig though I never put it on the netting of their wigs as I think that could possibly damage that part) but as long as its just a prop of sorts this could help soften the hair again. You could also soak with any regular conditioner too but thats kinda common knowledge & I always preferred the laundry softener method.
