- Baking with yeast scares me a little but I keep trying anyway. This time I think I’ve got it, at least, for this bread. Whew. This bread with yeast was easy to make and I had fun making it. I have realized that my house is probably not at ‘room temperature’ when baking with yeast. * So I read up on different ways to help with the first rise and found a way to work around the problem. Heat up your oven to 200 degrees. Just before you place the bread in the oven for that first rise Turn Off the oven and then place the bread dough in the bowl in the oven with a towel over it. Let rise according to the recipe directions.* And poof, it actually rises like bread dough is supposed to. I was so excited. My next thing was to make sure not to over knead it. It turned out perfectly. Give it a try.

Hi Amy! 👋 your making me hungry 😋
Amy don't worry bout the temp of the water just use your finger if it's warm to touch it fine, iv made yeast breads for years ,
Looks delicious!! I love watching you cook!!
Love homemade focaccia bread with rosemary!! I first tried it once the stay at home order went into effect. My first homemade sourdough starter was great in taste, but it didn’t rise as much as I wanted. So I started adding a little pinch of yeast that worked out perfectly. I no longer have my starter and miss focaccia bread! I will definitely give yours a try!! I used a heavy duty bread knife that I had used for my sourdough. The sourdough focaccia is light and does not come out with a crunchy crust like sourdough bread. I also had seen on Pinterest, designs on top with the toppings. I found this gave each bite, depending on what topping was on that bite, it’s own flavor. I used mushrooms, bell peppers (various colors), onions and garlic to decorate before baking. It was beyond delicious!!!
Hey from România...I love your recepis
I've made Faccocia bread often and I love it!! It is soooo easy and delicious!! And you don't need a mixer!

This looks delicious!!
Well done Amy , you focacia bread turn out great 👍 . I hope mine will look as good as your . Thanks for the recipe 🤗💛👍
Just a tip you didn't need to use your hands put little flour in at a time turn mixer to medium high when it's not clinging to the sides then you'll know sideshow bowl should be clean
I was making Pretzel dough which I’ve made several times and the dough kept being sticky, it only calls for 4 1/2 cups of flour and I would up using about 6 and it was still real sticky, I’ve never had that happen before and no it wasn’t raining.
You did such an awesome job on this bread. It looks amazing,
When I cook something for the first time, especially breads I always have the recipe at hand so I can refer to it and not make mistakes.
Add all your spices to the flower , you did not knead the dough long enough , let the mixer work it until the dough comes away from the bowl then rise it double in size , then put in pans .
Good going Amy! Little hints, you should make it in a cookie tray because focaccia is thin. I wish I could taste it through your television screen :-)
Amy, could this recipe be done with corn bread also, but omit the yeast. Thanks for your delicious recipes.
I like best Amy kitchen.I love you so much

I love 🥖 🍞; I need to cut down.. However, I am going to watch the vid again, then try it. 😂
I usually put the dough in pan to let it rise the second time , then when it's done rising all you do is put the toppings on ...
It look good amy & chis cranglation on your new grand son & zack son too
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Looks fabulous, but so much work 😊
I find if ti sticky’s I rub very little oil on my hands little like a drop or two that all ! It damp in my area rather it ti sticky than dry we like our pan so u can get nice crisp try that next time u will love it and I would nit play with dough so much ! It nit hard to make ! Don’t stress relax and have fun

♥️ SWEET ♥️
It's not baked long enough it should be darker brown .
It's funny cuz I was thinking that I would have put it in a oiled bowl to rise.
