Saturday, May 11th, I was out at Hodge Road in the middle of the desert outside of Barstow. I stayed out there until 12:30am under a very clear sky. Got to enjoy the stars for a while and watched the crescent moon disappear over the horizon, thus making the sky even slightly darker, and no aurora was to be seen..

Seen as far south as Mexico and Puerto Rico. This is a huge problem as the type of flares to produce this should be upwards of X20 or more.
