Doue is just amazing. Ball control and awareness in his madness are special
Watching his highlights clip, he reminds me a lot of Jota who was so good in Ange’s system at Celtic. But younger, faster and with a higher ceiling.
One constant with these gun kids that Ange is signing is that they’re all phenomenally good in tight spaces with the ball at their feet.
I'd love us to signing Doue. He looks like a very exciting player.

Doue with Neto would solve a lot of issues we currently have. Spot on Sim about Werner and johnson being good at getting in behind - they are good against teams that play a high line but hopeless against low blocks which is what we started seeing opposition sides playing against us. Neto and Doue would be very effective against low block sides

I don't understand why some fans hate the fact that we are trying to buy top talent I understand we need Prem proven players but you have to understand which winger will join us realistically Chiesa is not coming with Johnson and Kulu, Williams is a nice option but he would demand a lot of game time and wages, Marcus Edwards let's be honest not a lot people want him here so let's trust this young talent to do the job and grow plus you never know he just might be the LONG term replacement for Son and also no way we get EZE because he will have doubts about his game time.
We are not getting Williams....not in a million Sundays
And it's not like the young players we have signed are bad, Udogie, Sarr, Van De Ven, Dragusin and even Johnson have all been pretty solid if not better

I think we don’t need Doué instead we need Eze because our lineup will become very inexperienced and thus we need Eze who has more flare and actually has premier league experience. We will become a Chelsea knockoff if we buy doué. Let’s just buy Eze and a Jonathan David or Ivan Toney . This will create experience in the squad as well as young legs in the midfield and Brennan Johnson in the wings

If Spurs sign Doue and Neto, I think that means theyre not signing a striker and considering Kulu as a backup/alternative to Richy. We saw him play at striker towards the end of last season. Son can also play there if Werner starts out left.

This likely means that Eze doesn't happen either. Which makes sense because Spurs never pay release clauses. They could get Doue fairly cheap and Netos injury record will bring his fee down significantly.

Rather have Eze …Doue has a highlight real that consists of 4 games from League 1. Eze has done it over multiple seasons in the Prem. Stats here don’t pass the eye test between these two players.

There is absolutely no part of me that can get excited about signing another very young player - especially if it prevents us from signing a pl-proven player in his prime like Eze. All this teen collecting is risky - you can never predict how theyll perform & how many seasons they’ll need to settle and finally make an impact - young talent does not replace experience
maybe have a look at the young talent in out first team currently like sarr and udogie, seem to do just fine. by your logic emerson or davies beats udogie because theyve played more games.

Is that we signed bergvall, gray, Luka Vušković - all incredibly young talent. We have tons of young talent already on our team - We should take this opportunity to balance that out with pl-proven players in their prime that will hit the ground running once the season starts. There are no guarantees that these talented teenagers will adjust quickly - and who’s to say we won’t need to send someone out on loan if they can’t handle it right away ? IMO next 2 signings have to be marquee signings in their prime
