Baltimore Ravens Assist in Naming Baby Chimp at the Zoo

Introducing Violet! The Maryland Zoo’s newest chimpanzee was officially named with help from the Baltimore Ravens. Violet, a female chimpanzee, was born to Raven on Dec. 29, 2019. She’s was the second chimpanzee to be born at the Zoo in 2019.
