Jaydee “We are legion” is originally a quote from the Bible. One time Jesus encountered a naked, demon-possessed man who had broken chains on his wrists. He had overpowered the people who tried to contain him in a nearby town and escaped. He became a wild man and howled in the night, living in a grave yard. When the demon-possessed man saw Jesus, he cowered in fear at the son of God. Jesus asked It it’s name, and the demon said: “we are legion, for there are many of us.” The man was actually possessed by many demons. Jesus exorcised them out of the man but the demons asked if they could possess some nearby pigs. Jesus granted their request and they possessed the pigs and drowned themselves in the lake.
