I once was the sole attendee at a Mass for a man who died. I sang his Requiem with the priest. It felt so good to pray for him, hoping he would pray for us. I encourage others to experience this. It seemed a very great gift, he had planned his last Masses. It was an honor and a great privilege to assist Father. , "Dominus Vobiscum. " " Et cum Spiritu tuo."

Also, my son was part of a saint Joseph of Arimathea group that buried the homeless and very poor individuals around Cleveland, Ohio. This was at Saint Ignatius, high school, and many more high schools are starting to do the same thing. God be praised!

Thank you Brother Ryan for the explanation of “the Little Way”. Once again we are reminded that love without action is meaningless. Saint Thérèse pray for us. The group of students who volunteer for Saint Joseph of Arimathea Society is impressive and warms my heart. I remember frequent visits as a child to the graves of my grandparents with my parents. As I got older I fell out of the practice, UNTIL my mother died, then I visited her grave, and subsequently my dad’s, and all the resting places in our family plot weekly. It’s probably something I miss the most, now that I live at a distance. My late brother always impressed on me the importance of always going to the burial, when attending a funeral service. May all the souls buried by these special be at eternal rest

For those who are convinced that performing great things aren’t for them, then the little way is the best guide to the great heart of Jesus. He loves the little ones and is so amazed at their humility, simplicity, littleness and trust of a childlike heart. Loving God and Loving Our neighbors for the Love of God. Putting God and Neighbors before ourselves. Doing the corporal and spiritual works of Mercy. Beginning everything and ending everything with grateful prayer. Confidence in Knowing He is Always with us. Asking, with confidence and thankfulness for all our necessities. Always being mindful of God and Our Mother. Seeing God in Everyone we meet. Thanking time to be alone, with God, in Adoration, and Knowing that He is God. Turning everything over to God.
