Power Trim or Tilt Not Working? Do THIS

My power trim is not working on my boat all of sudden? How do you fix it? I'll show you as I replace fix my Johnson 175. Whether it is your trim down or trim up, I would recommend replacing both relays since they are so cheap.
One of the relays is for the trim down and the other is for the trim up. Since my trim down was not working, I switched them and was able to trim down while I was waiting for the new parts to arrive.

Don't forget to keep some Trim and Tilt Fluid in your garage as well. Since you are saving money on your solenoid fix, invest in some fluid as well :

Not sure why I kept saying solenoid in this video, but this is clearly a relay. Sorry for that confusion.

That is a relay you replaced not a solenoid.

However it’s still useful, I’m actually having issues with mine acting like I have a short, I’m definitely gonna try to get new relays as soon as the stores open today, thanks for the tip!
