Wow your awesome Jon I love it when you say "Doesn't mean that your better then them and does not have something to teach you" My son is now 27 and severely disabled and non verbal (I am his voice) but regardless he does have allot to offer to others by as you said curious children asking questions. Same as you, I have experienced all of the curious children, Some with parents that want to run away and others that are ok for their child to ask me questions and even talk to my son :-) I treasure those moments because my kiddo needs normalcy just like anybody else. I realize this video you posted is in 2013 but just saw it linked from another story I watched of you living in NY. God Bless Jon and keep being who you are, Your awesome!!

From kids: "How old are you?"
    Me: [insert adult age]
From kids: "Wow, really? But you're soooo short!"
... Indeed, kids are just curious and don't normally filter themselves. No offense taken. So that's why I tell them, "People come in different shapes and sizes, and I just happen to be small." It's nice, insightful, and counters discrimination. What we say to our children matters so much-- just like what you emphasized about your mother. My parents were the same way :)
Stranger: "Would you like some help?"
Me: "No thanks. I've almost got it."
And it takes some damn good skills to get those things, too!

Excellent doc! Great inspiration for those who need to see the world a little differently! Great job Justin, and a great message from Jon Novick! Question - Anyone know the song played at the end, from Freeplay Music?

Just watch the 8-13 Democracy Now and Jon's, (and others), research on the lives of the disabled in Russia. These guys are the responsible interpreters for the disabled. Mature and focused on a mission. Jon must have some incredible parents who obviously conveyed to Jon a realism about his condition combined with the suport to make it in the "real" world. Bravo man!!! Bravo.

Jon Novick, I dont know if you ever will read this. I just wanted to tell you that you are a brave person. And posting this video means support for all the people that are in a situation like you. Life is a lotery, you cant choose to born healthy but you can choose being a good human being. But Im sure that you are more happy that all of those creepy people that laugh at you.

I no absolutely nothing about dwarfism but this is a cool dude, down to earth and actually acts more normal than most idiots you run into on a daily basis that dont have dwarfism....
Would like to hang out with this dude.

I grew up watching Little People Big World but I never saw Dwarf in real life until one day I went to PetSmart I was shocked to see a Dwarf in real life but was disappointed that she was very overweight is that normal for Dwarfs?
