It's only expensive because he's buying the materials. Just don't be in a rush to build them and wait till you owe the productions. Not rocket science.
@JackSparrow-pp1bt at that point you'll be able to build the bigger and better sheds and barns. It will only be useful at that point to build the homes in that category. They should have put all the buildings in that category too and make it so you can build all of them this way.
@@JackSparrow-pp1btby the time you have all of those productions if you sold the products like normal you would make about $150,000 profit. @@JackSparrow-pp1bt Yeah but by the time you own all the productions, your well off enough to just build a bigger shed. i mean just look at how expensive the cement factory alone is, not even to mention the land needed, and the fact that your losing the money that the materials used to construct sell for. its a cool concept but in reality its not worth it for how much input is required :\
The constructables should be cheaper regardless. Let's be real if you've got the better productions you're probably loaded and already sheded up. Realistically these sheds should be fun and cheap and easy to build just like how they look.

Is it maybe this way cuz he is playing on easy mode? Products sell for more but because you may not buy sell with profit the buy price is higher as well. Buildings and vehicles cost less? On easy mode
Fully agreed on smaller machines making the game more fun. I had five saves on FS22 that went over 100 hours. And only on Haut Beyleron and Silverrun did I just buy high horsepower equipment, the other maps always had a self-imposed restrictions like only using small tractors, no tractor over 150 HP or using only one single tractor. And those are so much more enjoyable to me. Also, while selling saplings manually would be a chore, maybe it would make sense to buy one of those greenhouses and set it to auto-sell. That way you get a pretty nice passive income and you just have to cart some water to it every now and then.
I always play “new farmer” but I replace the equipment with equivalent equipment of a singular brand or “farm manager. I use smaller equipment so I can spend more money on fields and I make money faster and I never play past 10,000,000 and usually quit around 5,000,000. US maps only except for Rennebu and court farm. I did play somewhere in lower Bavaria but I hated it because it was too tight. I couldn’t turn the ford 6610 around in the yard.
Favourite features so far: - Constructables (even though they’re expensive) - 3D Ground Textures (looks so good, not quite snow runner but for FS it’s a good start) - Choosing starting balance (some saves need it) - Rice Fields (new crops and methods are always good)
lets be honest though FS22 had all those via mods. that said the mud mod wasnt exactly the same as the new ground textures and so that is more new in FS25
I agree 100% that it's more rewarding to start small and work my way up to the big machines. I give you props as a content creator for doing it this way. Once you have all the big machines it feels like there is no goal besides getting the work done. Look at real world farming around you. You will see the people that made it and have the best of the best, and you will see the farmers that limp old stuff along and do the same job. For FS25 since it will take awhile for new maps and mods, I plan on starting with what is given to me, not cheating in Money and just going to town. I'm thankful I don't have to try and keep things interesting for videos. I can just take my time, be smart with my Money and enjoy it. I want to figure out what I need for a Main New Tractor, saving for it, and then seeing how many hours I can get on it!! That's my only goal! Thank you for all the great video's Dag, can't wait to see what you do in FS25!!
I think you'll hit 1m subs with this series. Does seem a bit odd that in order to build basic constructable sheds, you effectively need to own multiple industries that are more expensive than just buying prebuilt buildings... though I see why they do it this way from a game perspective.
That Timelapse really did the planter justice! The animation is fantastic! So much better than previous versions and you can see why this now requires more powerful computers and consoles than fs22. And I totally agree that getting to success is more fun than starting at success. And once you achieve success it’s more enjoyable to play the successful save you’ve spent hours getting to instead of the save that has a couple of hours on it but massive machinery and fields, and loads of money to play with.
I do think it would be beneficial to do a few contracts, get some cash in. Also if you undertake some of the bigger contracts and borrow their machinery it will mean we get to see (and you get to use ) some of the bigger machinery that is unaffordable atm. Good to see you’re still crashing into everything 😝 Makes my laugh when I hear ‘oh just crashed into a post’ ‘oops just crashed into a fence’ ‘oh no, just crashed into my new combine’ ‘Oh dear, just crashed my new tractor into a wall’ so funny and matter of fact!
I was thrilled at the possibilities of those craftable sheds; for things like the 'start from nothing' type approach, saving up for that 35k small sawmill then being a gateway to build your own empire. And I'm sure in time the modders will come through with a huge variety of them, so at least kudos to Giants for giving folks the jumping-off point. But unless you were buying your concrete at the worst possible time (in keeping with how you've done things for years XD ) it's just really discouraging to see how much more expensive it is to build your own rather than buying one outright. It's supposed to be cheaper to do it yourself!
'Nothing to do.' Hmm, how about selling mushroom, timber and rice samplings pallets, and get the money you so hard need to continue. And running out of fuel. Maybe remember to turn it off, when you leave it, not leving it running all night. And the solution (after shutting off the engine.) is the fuel trailer. Just lease it, and use it.
I do agree on it better taking longer, i was new to FS22 and first played on Easy and once i got all big machines and some production, i suddenly had all the money and no goal left and didnt know why to play anymore 😅 love the video ❤
I find it humorous that daggerwin talks about playing realistic, but i know zero farmers that ignore basic maintenance and ignore fuel in their equipment. As much as i enjoy daggerwins daily videos, i want to encourage daggerwin to relax. Have fun, it is a game. Too often it feels like he is not having fun
I love the way you make your videos you make me feel like we’re right there with you please keep making videos I’ve been watching you sense 15 and I love that your still the same sweet person ❤
"It's the getting there that is the fun. Comment down below if you agree." Completely agree. It's that age-old tension of wanting to push ahead and make as much progress as quickly as possible, while wanting enough remaining challenge and difficulty along the way to make it worthwhile and meaningful. It's a difficult balance to strike in any sandbox or player-driven experience, but something that has always kept me coming back in FS games is the feeling that doing it all again sounds really appealing and fun. I have some mega-farms where I just rule the map, but often find myself coming back to either a new playthrough or a farm that's in trouble because there is something so rewarding about digging out of a hole, right on the edge of not quite making it, and yet soldiering on with every last bale and pallet of strawberries. It's the struggle and the anticipation of getting that "next machine that will make life so much easier" that drives the experience.
Yayyyy 🎉🥂💃🏼💃🏼🥂🎉 Finally some new kind of work and farming of 25, new crop and different ones rather than the boring and usually harvesting method. About time when we play 25 and not 22
I’m definitely 110% totally agree with you daggerwin about what you said about how starting off with small older tractors and a combine and smaller older equipment and working towards better tractors combines and equipment its definitely fun more fun in the adventure getting there then just starting with everything I love how the rice planter literally plants rice saplings and how you see them being planted and the water dynamics made bye the rice planter it’s like so realistic on point 110%

My philosophy on your comment about the progress being more fun than the end result: I definitely see your point there. I still play FS19 every once in a while to succeed from very little on a Felsbrunn savegame I’ve been working on. I enjoy the progression. On our bigger projects in real life, I enjoy working on them. Same thing. HOWEVER! Do I like the journey more than the end product? I think it just depends. Will I enjoy my survival challenge when I’ve made loads of money and can buy whatever I want? I think so. That is, until I run out of things to do, as the game is a lot more limited than FS25. Will I enjoy our projects more when we’re done or do I enjoy the work more? I built a band organ from parts a few years ago. The work was fun, but I really enjoy just listening to the music it makes. But, again, I think it just depends on what it is. There are some things where I enjoy the end product more, and some things where I enjoy the work more.

it would be cool if we would be able to use on map factories, for example we bring wood and we get planks for the half the cost of normal final product in the warehouse, same goes for every other factory, bring base product receive final product for half a price. Maybe then it would balance itself a bit better and still would be fun :D
Completely agree with the grind appreciation. These kinds of games are about getting there, not being there! Given the somewhat hidden costs of the construction and that it is your first one, I would scrap it and add the money spent on the plot and cement back in. Really not worth doing until you can made the cement and blocks.
A long journey can be enjoyable, especially in hindsight, but it cannot be a slog filled with regret. If the dominant feeling for an experience is time wasted, then it was an objectively bad experience.
I was concerned when you limited your starting funds, became more concerned when you bought the extra land straight away, and my concern bubbled over when you chose to build that shed, knowing that this method of shed construction was going to cost far more than the bob standard shed, but, it is just a game and now we know. Keep on keeping on.
20:27 exactly this, i want progrssion in this game, buying your first big machine feels awesome, but when your at the point you have everything you need and just need to grind fields, it looses the fun
I do agree with the journey comment a lot. It stops being as much fun when you run out of things to make a new goal. It is farming simulator not " Look I am so rich" simulator lol.
Can you inform giant that the rain doesn’t touch the windscreen so when driving you don’t get it on the screen so the wipers just go on for no reason there’s no water proof so it’s just wiping the windscreen for no reason and have some water splashing when you drive through the puddles cheers I look forward to the rest of your videos they did well with this one just a few things the could polish up

Love this series brought memberships just for it thanks for all the vids daggerwin will we see some ploughing on this map?
I agree with that the part of getting to success is more fun than the success part
Its the journey, not the destination that makes it fun
I agree, you are doing fine Wynn! really enjoy
FYI dagger you can put a fertilizer kit on your drill
A long journey can be enjoyable, especially in hindsight, but it cannot be a slog filled with regret. If the dominant feeling for an experience is time wasted, then it was an objectively bad experience.
10:33 Drilling seed with a tele-handler, funniest thing I’ve seen so far in FS25
Another advantage of the Merlo telehandler is its three-point hitch at the back, which allows it to function as a tractor for fieldwork.
you should buy a trailer for the merlo! It would save you from making a 2 way trip.
Another cultivation of mushrooms would be something to bet on.
I was concerned when you limited your starting funds, became more concerned when you bought the extra land straight away, and my concern bubbled over when you chose to build that shed, knowing that this method of shed construction was going to cost far more than the bob standard shed, but, it is just a game and now we know. Keep on keeping on.
Daggerwin and Chainsaw uploaded there videos just a second apart from each other 😂
20:27 exactly this, i want progrssion in this game, buying your first big machine feels awesome,
but when your at the point you have everything you need and just need to grind fields, it looses the fun
I do agree with the journey comment a lot. It stops being as much fun when you run out of things to make a new goal. It is farming simulator not " Look I am so rich" simulator lol.
Need to put one of the other small filds in to a paddy to grow long grain rice in so you can do both tips or rice for prediction
I agree totally
Friends of me cheat money and then buy all big things.
And after a while they stop playing the game because its boring.. 😂
Love the rice
Those workers on that shed are rather fishy. XD They work really expensive. You will dump 3x amount of money on that shed then just buying it built.
brudda take a rest my man has been pumping out soo much fs25 content, i appreciate them daggerwin
Agree 100% with you!! Daggerwin
You still have a long way to go with that construction daggerwin. It takes a long time judging by other creators doing it
Can you inform giant that the rain doesn’t touch the windscreen so when driving you don’t get it on the screen so the wipers just go on for no reason there’s no water proof so it’s just wiping the windscreen for no reason and have some water splashing when you drive through the puddles cheers I look forward to the rest of your videos they did well with this one just a few things the could polish up
They removed it as was causing problems with game play that is why its been removed for now
Yeah, nice to do something new right 😉
I powered through 9 yesterday, so get a crack on lad, and push out the same amount today pls :P
I love this new series!
It is better to be addicted to a game than drugs or alcohol.
