Doesn't the dark color of the boat collect a lot of heat? That would be a problem in 80-90 degree F. temps.

Not a problem for aluminium I believe. Big problem for fibreglass - high risk of delamination!

its the thickness of the aluminium use on the body of the boat.Most use 5mm,these guys use a thicker one.
