Thank you sooo much for showing this 74-yr-old non-techie that the 3.5ml cable has to be plugged in, too! I'm so not up on this stuff, and couldn't figure out why just plugging the USB cable into my laptop wasn't working. I just got this from Amazon today, and was about to return it, thinking it was defective, lol. I really like the speaker; much better than the last one, and cheaper, too. I'm subscribing to your channel because I can see I'll learn a whole lot. Thanks again! :) :)
Hi there! I really appreciate your kind words, they’ve made my day. Also, I’m really glad that I could help you out with this little video. Thanks so much for subscribing, it helps my channel out tremendously 🙂
I bought the *Soulion R30 PLUS speakers* on Amazon. Absolutely loved it! Decent sound quality, minimal design suitable for any desk set up and budget friendly. Highly recommend!
I still get so surprised when I go thru ur videos and see a crazy variety u can prbly tell by my name that I came for the animal crossing stuff but all ur content is so underrated
Great review!!!! Question, I'm using a Pc where i connect my monitor (with built in speakers) to the cpu with an HDMI cable, would i be able to plug in the aux and usb cord for this speaker in the back of my PC and get sound? or does it have to be plugged into the monitor?
Hi there, thanks for checking out the video and regarding your question, the safest bet is to plug the speaker's 3.5mm cable into the audio source directly 😊... But both methods should be able to work (through the monitor's audio out or PC's audio out). The USB cable for this speaker is mainly a power source, so you can plug that in anywhere with a USB port (even a power brick for a phone into a wall). In short, it has nothing to do with the sound output, it's merely for powering up the speaker. Hope this info helps!
I’d say it can handle a small room 🙂... but if you’re looking for bass-filled explosions and deep tones, this will struggle a bit 😞. It’s pretty good for dialogue though, voices come out clear.
Unfortunately, it’s not 😞... it just cycles through the colors (good eye, both sides aren’t in sync when it cycles 😕)... so for anyone with a slight case of OCD, it’ll drive ya crazy lol
Thank you! ... And It should, just as long as your iMac has a 3.5mm port (for headphones/speakers) and you have an available USB port (for power, doesn't necessarily have to be plugged into the Mac).
Dang, that's so interesting! I've read a few other comments saying that this looks identical to other brands too. I'm guessing that (if the other sound bars were manufactured in China), they all use the same manufacturer.
I got one from Amazon, it doesn't ever power on (tried 3 difference USB sources including computer) no lights no sound. Suppose it is defective.. Shame as I took it with me on a trip without testing it first.
It is powered via usb... so you’d have to plug the usb end into a power source (available USB on PC or even a power brick)... and then you can plug in the 3.5mm cable into your audio out on your PC.
@@wowVJ could i plug the USB into a PS5 and plug the 3.5 cable into the monitor and it would work like that? (also if i plug the usb into a laptop, it could work like that?)
i just bought one and mine keeps ringing and it gets louder when you turn it up. did you experience this as well or did i just get a bad one or is there a way to even fix this?
Oh dang, I haven’t had any issues on my end... but I can try my best to help you troubleshoot, what are you trying to use it with?? (PC, smartphone, etc)
Have you tried plugging in the USB cable into other ports (like on the back of the pc)?? Some ports don’t put out as much power as others... also take a good look at the 3.5mm cable to see if the tip is damaged in anyway... If none of that works, I’d hit up the amazon seller and complain or tell them you want to return it, messaging them works most of the time because they get scared of low ratings and reviews, you might even luck out and they’ll send you a new one for free >.< getting a faulty item sucks big time, hope it works out for you
this sounds worse than laptop speakers because there is too much bass. if you turn down the bass from windows control / equalizer, does it sound better or clearer? or sharper?
That's strange, you have the 3.5mm cable plugged into your headphone/external sound port as well? As well as turned the volume knob to a decent level? It's not a recognized device on my laptop, the USB is strictly used for powering the device, so maybe if you use another port on your desktop (sometimes the ports on the back provide more power than the front), it might work.
is the bass good tho?? Im a music producer and i need this for my pc bc its inexpensive, but i need to always hear my kicks and 808s or bassline, its my favorite part of making any beat. So i n e e d b a s s
I’d say no, this speaker won’t cut it with what you need them for. You should try to pick up a set with a separate subwoofer, so some sort of 2.1 channel speaker system or soundbar.
Technically, yes... but it would have to have an audio in (plugged into your computer) and an audio out (plugs into sound bar)... it would just be easier to plug it in directly to the audio source
I was just about to say the same. Just played some music through one of these and it sounds bloody awful. It's hard to distinguish what is being played and that's from a musician of nearly 20 years! Wow, this is getting sent back tomorrow!

It looks awesome great review and also is the usb and audio cables small
Thanks for the review. Got 2!!!
no problem! Glad I could help you out 🙂
Hi! Does it works as a stereo? (360 sound). Can you distinguish Left audio to right audio? I plan on getting one for gaming. Thanks!
I just got it 😀

Yes it is 😄

How do you set it up? It doesn’t show up on my speakers.
Hi just wanna ask if you can control the rgb lights; or it just go on a rainbow ripple kind of thing?
Unfortunately there aren’t any controls for the lighting effects 😞
Is there one with a Mic jack??
Im curious about your definition of "Extremely loud volume" your voice was louder....
is there a usb mode? where sound would travel through the usb and not the 3.5mm jack?
Unfortunately no... the usb is primarily to power up the speaker and built-in lights
Which one do you prefer the sakobs sound bar (the same one you did a review on )or this sound bar
Sound, function (mainly Bluetooth), and portability, I prefer the sakobs... but the one from this video has some neat looking RGB’s 🤔

Thanks for the comment! It does output in stereo 🙂
Awesome! Thanks for the reply!

Is there a software where you can customise the coulours
nope, just a single button to turn it off and on... it has a preset color pattern that it cycles through.
Ok
Same laptop I got here and shit is still good tbh
Definitely, that specific laptop has some of the best built-in speakers I've ever heard.
this is an exact replica of wiresto's sound bar too. my guess is they just rebrand the speakers made from the same company

If your tv has a port for a 3.5mm cable, like headphones or aux out, then yes.
this sounds worse than laptop speakers because there is too much bass.
if you turn down the bass from windows control / equalizer, does it sound better or clearer? or sharper?
These are god awful. Deffo not worth the price you pay for 'em. I'd say they're a shitty £5 set of speakers.
Can it be connected to a Xbox
My desktop won’t even recognize anything when I plug it in exactly how you have it. The leds work though.

Agreed! Clearly the inspiration for this knock-off version lol.
