Michele Lacerenza played most of these trumpet solos composed bu Enno Morricone including all the Eastwood trilogy spaghetti western. He was truly a gifted player. RIP.
+Dean Humble Tarantino is an uninspired hack with a really, really deprived mind. I think he's one of the worst directors ever existed, even Uwe Boll is better in my opinion. Makes me ashamed of being a fan of classic Italian cinema sometimes.
You guys suck. This song was wasted on a forgettable movie. Tarantino uses music LEGALLY from dead movies in scenes far more fitting and dramatic. This song wasn't even in Kill Bill you fools.
@@Commander_Rane it was you idiot it played in the o-ren ishii anime scene, plus who gives a shit if he legally used it, i rather have an illegal use of a soundtrack if it fits better than a shitty legal one
This music sends shivers and empowers your soul. It is that good it is off the ricter scale of good. Thank God for such brilliance. I am on a mission to get cd's and listen much more.
Why hasn't this been released on DVD? I recall seeing this for the first time back in 197-something at the age of 13 or 14 on a holiday in Italy. My older coulsin took both myself and my brother to the flicks to watch this one evening. Didn't understand a word since it was in Italian, but we were both blown away by the film and the score. After the fnale and credits, we looked at each other with a WTF have we just watched look on our faces. Why hasn't anyone posted the film on UA-cam yet?
Well for Inglorious Basterds the man who was his composure was working on some other things so he gave him music he did from other films. Even though Tarantino wanted an original score, but I get your point.
@quizno1992 Same here. It made me want to rewatch the good, the bad and the ugly. I liked "the lonely shepherd" in kill bill. it got me to like the pan flute
Alice Gribble - I think the term spaghetti western stems from the expression from japan that they termed noodle western. The americans caught on and termed them spaghetti for its European market flavor.
Sergio Leone (The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly) and other Italian directors filmed a lot of Westerns using Italy's landscape in the 1960s, which is why they're called Spaghetti Westerns.
Jordan Elias They weren't filmed in Italy. Spain and the Canary Islands were their main film sets. As it happens an italain journalist seems to be the origin of the expression whilst reporting on the films for the USA - As Fistful of Dollars was based on the Japanese Yojimbo and the Italian remake was called a Noodle western, that is why I considered the term to be borrowed from the Japanese.
The interiors were usually filmed in Rome. Exteriors-Almeria,Spain which is all desert with Italian, spanish, and the token American actor, usually the star. Tarantino took from a lot great but ignored films. Only people who know these films can see it.
Among the currrent film makers Quentin Tarantino is the only one who realized that the real goldmine of Italian cinema was not in the snobbish list (Fellini, Antonioni, you name it), but in the b-movies. Thang god he is keeping alive the genre whereas the Italians totally caved in to minimalist shit passed off as art
The term comes from the fact that Italian directors made these films. It has nothing to do with 'spaghetti' meaning bland or anything. That's what I first thought, anyway, until I actually saw one.
I can’t stop listening to this….its so epic it makes driving to circle k feel like something out of the Iliad
Nothing better than Spaghetti westerns and the music that sets the tone!

Amazing song. Tarantino also used it in the first Kill Bill.
Daniel Patrin Jesus how many fucking soundtracks did he take from spaghetti westerns? This one too?!
+Dean Humble

Aussie Noonga Then you get his pre-pubescent fanbase commenting on everything "Wait I thought dis song was from kill bill!!". It's just embarrassing.

This kind of music makes me want to slip on some cowboy boots with spurs, hop on a horse, and gallup to the theatre to watch a Tarantino movie.
tarantino is bullshit beside sergio leone fella.
+Oscar E. Vill Can't agree. They both share the same western essence.
Miguel Fernandes que no carnal!
Cana Dude What does this have to do with Tarantino?
Watch more of his films. QT is a huge fan of spaghetti westerns and this type of music has found it's way into them

Until now I didn't know that wonderful Soundtrack was composed for an other movie than Kill Bill lol
Well for Inglorious Basterds the man who was his composure was working on some other things so he gave him music he did from other films. Even though Tarantino wanted an original score, but I get your point.
There may not be many of us around now , but shit yeah we're real Mr !
Sounds dope. Sounds like the music some Cambodians sampled in sad songs.
G.G. ..bon acteur !
Bravoooooo
Quentin Tarantino released a "teaser script" for Kill Bill Vol. 3 and suggested that you listen to this link while reading it. Awesome.
Your English looks good to me.
@quizno1992 Same here. It made me want to rewatch the good, the bad and the ugly. I liked "the lonely shepherd" in kill bill. it got me to like the pan flute

Armando Trovaioli - I lunghi giorni della vendetta
Un peliculón...
Alice Gribble - I think the term spaghetti western stems from the expression from japan that they termed noodle western. The americans caught on and termed them spaghetti for its European market flavor.

Jordan Elias They were Italian made, but often filmed in Andalucia Spain.
Jordan Elias They weren't filmed in Italy. Spain and the Canary Islands were their main film sets. ***** Cool! Now I know. Thanks guys. I suppose the Spaghetti comes solely from the Italian production then.
Does anyone know where to find the harmonica tabs of the last song ???
(Tutto Finisce All'Alba - Armando Trovajoli)
It's called "La prateria" (The prairie).
I guess because most productions were Italian. Check it out in wikipedia
yeah
@OnkelBermuda its available from AMAZON UNDER THE ITALIAN TITLE .... I LUNHGI GIORNI DELLA VENDETTA
At 0:36 it sounds a bit like the music from Star Wars II, when Padme and Anakin enter the arena.
The interiors were usually filmed in Rome. Exteriors-Almeria,Spain which is all desert with Italian, spanish, and the token American actor, usually the star. Tarantino took from a lot great but ignored films. Only people who know these films can see it.
@lovepeacepoetry A band called Gypsy Pistolero do. They had 4 songs on the WET video game. Google it. great stuff.
6:00 Grand funk obviously ripped this off and made Closer to home (im your captain). I could hear it on first pass...plain as day.
God, I love this music! Anybody know if it's avaliable on CD?
Ah. Speghetti Westerns...Western films with Italian composers.
It is very similar to quoting same stupid line everywhere.
American "Wild West" films, filmed in Italy.
Can someone tell me were/how I can download this song.. it's awesome
Ah thanks. Sure does look like him though.
The term comes from the fact that Italian directors made these films. It has nothing to do with 'spaghetti' meaning bland or anything. That's what I first thought, anyway, until I actually saw one.
haha well said
I've never seen this western, but isn't that the Mexican captain from 'Duck You Sucker'?
doesnt the live band "Spindrift" from L.A. play spaghetti western music like this?

tarantino included a part of this song in the short of Kill Bill.
