dad's water organ

dad’s water organ demo turned into a boards of canada jam. the organ is designed to sit atop a paddle wheel catamaran on the river, the bellows powered by the current. river speed, depth, temp, compass orientation and turbidity readings are translated into notation via midi and some solenoid wizardy to provide the organ with music - original, real-time river music. in this vid, we just hooked the organ up to a midi keyboard.
