    I am glad you kept the Kelly 32! It’s a lovely bag and I love how you accessorized it!
    Oh the Chamonix leather would make me nervous as well but the color and the twilly you used would demand I carry this bag around! So pretty!
    Ahh! The Jypsiere is soo pretty! I am glad you kept it. The Mosaïque is (as I have said entirely too many times 😅sorry) one of my favorite bags of yours!
    No what I usually buy I really like. Sometimes I regret not getting it😅
    I loved your lip color! ❤

    The title is confusing… it should read “ Should I GET a refund for my bags” not “should I refund”…the first sentence implies you’d get money back, the second one and your title implies YOU’D give money back….

    I definitely would sell any bag with Epsom leather. It just does not look expensive at all to me. A sales person I once knew told me that Epsom leather is a lesser quality leather than their other leathers. I don’t know if that is really true, but I just don’t like the feel and look of it. But, I love all of the other Hermes leathers for sure!

    I have sold quite a few bags last couple of years and I managed to sell them pretty fast but since maybe 6+ months the Preloved market is quiet and very difficult to sell now .Am glad I have a very curated collection .Thank God it's the end of my bag journey though I love to watch and read about luxury bags .

    I remember looking for a bag to carry. I couldn’t find it. That’s when I realized that I sold it. So, unless I’m absolutely, positively sure, my bags are staying put.

    Great video. I never thought about that. Few years ago I sold alot of my luxury stuff on fashionphile because so much going on in my life, personal a mean. Basicly I felt ashamed that I spent money on handbags and in the last 6 months I been trying to replace the ones I miss. I get out things to sell so I can buy something else. Then I love all over again. I have some borderline luxury I wish I could return. Great sharing great thought 👍

    Out of all the bags I can see behind her, the black Kelly would be the one bag I would most definitely keep. Sell the cowboy hat & twilly, I'd keep the black Kelly.

    After years of ignoring luxury handbags, I went on an LV streak and bought a Speedy B 30, a Neverfull MM, an Alma BB, two mini pochettes, among others. Then I started doing the research that I should've done BEFORE... and now I wish that I could get refunded for many of these. However, I will not sell at a huge loss when most of the items are brand new. I have really come up the curve since then and am now extremely careful about buying anything new - attempting to really curate.

    Jessie I have to ask, how do you make so much money selling your bags?! consigners take a decent % and it feels impossible to sell on your own to someone who will pay a decent or profitable price
    You seem to sell things so easy, is it private sale to locals or consignor? need tips

    • @Jessiestyle
      @Jessiestyle  7 місяців тому

      Hey Holly! It helped when I worked at a consignment shop (purse affair) I was able to sell them off easier and at better rate (staff perks). I have had success selling through facebook locally many times and meeting up with felllow bag enthusiast (although meeting up can be risky!) I have never had bad experience myself. I also had success selling most of my loewe bags through my UA-cam Vlog sale which meant I had no consignment fee! I even have done ebay in the past..however it was for bags under 1k! Most recently when I have sold bags it has been through consignment and i no longer get the good rate...thus I loose more money. Im also a little afraid to sell more bags though my channel especially hermes as it can be risky! My tip would be its easiest to sell privately through a facebook group or to friends you may know or work with (I have also sold bags to friends which means less fees and hassel)! Local consignment is also much easier..i would be too scared to send my bags in the mail to a consigner!

      @hollygrace6814 7 місяців тому

      You are an expert!
      yes ive had luck locally, and have a few trusty consignors I go too. I dont really worry about making money, i just cop the loss because i used the bags at the end of the day anyway!@@Jessiestyle

    i see less and less luxury bags out when i am in Stockholm och Gothenburg. The last time i hade a glimt of an Chanel bag was on a from Stockholm wa 2 years ago, so I havent seen a Hermes or Chanel on a very long time now. What i do see is Prada, Guggi LV and that is only with young girls (that is sometimes selling themselves to have them) and boys (that are in criminal gangs) . I Stockholm if you are a young man wearing a gucci hat you are in trouble. First - the gangs wants it, second - now the police stops you for a check up of you because you wear it because they suspicious if you are a gangster. When police invade criminal gangs home they always find a lot of Gucci, Prada and LV. I guess it something they wear themselves to show off because there is no Chanel or Hermes here. These brands are for direct selling to others - not to wear themselvs. Because it feels to old lady like for themselves. A man in these groups could never where a Hermes or Chanel without totally damaging their own brand. But to sell it - thats another thing.
    These brands i fell sometimes very tacky because their monograms. And it also associate with fishy business or are fakes But i see a lot of Michael Kors since its less expensive (and i would not say its luxury brand) . Its not worth making a fake Kors bag but luxuary bags are. LV screams fake bag. Gucci screams rapper or gangster. I think these luxury brands should look in what group of people they really want to attract and what their goods gives for kind of vibes of them and then maybe see that its loosing its value.
    My friends that has Chanelbags, Dior and Hermes doesn't dare ware it anymore. I think this trend will be more and more when times gets worse. Other things are going to be more valuable- as Dacob says - times get more valuable, more of a luxury things. But in my country when we now having huge economic problems - people are actually afraid of showing off. I take a huge risk every time i wear my purple mink fur but i still wear it. Hermes scarves arent so obvious so that i can get away wearing it. That is sad.
    I would dare gold either outside with less is a costume item like Vivianne Westwoods fantastic costume items - loves it. I wear tha toften with a lot of fake and real pearls like Chanel herself. Everyone assumes its fake. But it still classic. This more and more awful times forces one to think twice third time what to wear. In Sweden it has always been risky to differ from the flock. Be mainstream and its ok - to show off - then you get yourself in spotlight. I hope its not the same in Australia but if we have the problems you will perhaps have the same problems with time too- especially when times are going to get worse. Because it will. I thin its e of the reason why luxury brands has to overprize their items - they want to mil the comes so much as it is possible while its still possible. I am rather convinced that in 3-4 years ahead - brands has lost its market to the price they have now. Either they are dead as brand, having struggle to survive or had to lower their prices. Because it cant continue for ever.

    Hello Jessie! You look great. Love your top. I think you have the most Hermes bag. I like grainy leather more than smooth leather as well. I don't wear brown bags but will wear brown sweaters and tops. I know that is weird. I don't sell a lot of bags so I don't have much regret. I enjoyed watching. 💙💜

    I'm a bagaholic whore lol I'll sell anything to fund new bags as long as someone wants it and I don't lose tons of money (like consignment sites take up to 40%, reselling platforms take 20% which is still a lot) so I end up losing money anyway. but there's always something new I want, or something pops up on resale market that was on my wish list like forever.
