I came here again after knowing that woohyun had a cancer and a surgery. I was really thinking why his aura and vibe here is not the same. And I observed that he don't sing like before. Now I know why during this dingo killing voice he is still recovering. He also said that he might now regain his singing ability because he had difficulty in breathing. Hoping he will regain his health and condition. But I know his trying. Please support his new song.
Finally L getting some appreciation for his vocals ;__; He actually worked with Sunggyu a lot to improve his technique - he sounds completely different to when they first started out, he has a lot more support and power now. You can even see a few times they employ the same technique when singing and it's really interesting! (also yes, he was sick or at least very tired) Also Dongwoo (blue hair) is the main rapper and dancer, who is now covering Hoya's (ex-member) lines as well, hence why he raps and sings much more than in their original recordings. L, Sungjong (bright, feminine voice) and Sungyeol (who rapped for a bit) are sub-vocalists, while Sunggyu and Woohyun are the main vocals.
The blue hair guy is the rapper, main dancer and he can sing very well, he also is a musical singer too. Jang Dongwoo is our precious treasure in INFINITE ❤

Woohyun is technically better according to analysis. The gap isn't big though. I think people tend to choose who has more of a STYLISTIC type of singing or pretty vocal tone and view it as "oh, they are better", but that's really not the case although it sounds good. When it was OT7, anyone aside from Woohyun and Sunggyu were not worthy to be ranked. Judging by level of difficulty, high notes given, and parts chosen for the members (and technique), it would be. Woohyun Sunggyu L Dongwoo (I think Hoya was above him before but definitely not anymore after his improvement) Sungjong Sungyeol
After knowing Woohyun (second man from right) had gastrointestinal cancer and was still recovering when this episode was recorded, I now know why he wasn't hitting those ear-peircing, soul stirring high notes. It must be really difficult for him to sing. You really missed hearing how good he is. But I agree with the rest of the video.
The transition of Myungsoo (denim shirt) going from being shy about always singing the first line of the song to squeezing his eyes shut during solo stages at concerts to a confident and impressive singer. Boy has grown so much! One of the reasons you hear Dongwoo (blue hair) doing all of the things all thoughout the video is because there used to be two dancer/rappers (both with great singing voices), and after Hoya left, Dongwoo inherited many of his parts. The other reason you hear him a lot is because THE MAN CAN APPARENTLY DO EVERY DAMN THING NO PROBLEM XD he's a total gem. Infinite has such a great variety of vocal colors while being a coherent and consistent group. Really happy to see other people appreciate their charms and talent!! Thank you for this!!
The guy you choose as a favorite (blue hair) is Dongwoo, main rapper and IS the main dancer of the group. The guy you liked in the beginning is L or myungsoo (blue shirt, handsome, holding a water bottle) and he’s he visual but he has improved a lot vocally over the years especially after 2016. his technique used to be a lot more nasal and he worked hard to fix it, this might be why you thought he was sick. The guy you thought had leader charisma (white shirt) is Sunggyu and he’s definitely the leader and main vocalist. Woohyun is also a main vocalist (the other blue shirt, good with microphones) he tends to support the vocals of the whole group because his voice blends everyone elses nicely without standing out too much. Out of the two main vocalists woohyun has better vocal technique and he shines the best when doing emotional vocals because he sings with his entire heart. Sunggyu the leader has more texture and a more unique tone and he’s pretty popular as a soloist in South Korea. Both of them have solo songs you can check out. Lastly, the guy with the pretty voice is Sungjong, and the guy who did a short rap is Sungyeol and they’re both vocalists. Infinite as a whole have a ton of live performance videos, they’ve done like over a 100? concert and they have many songs that showcase their vocals like Diamond, Between me & You, and many others. Myungsoo's voice is still nasal, that's his natural voice. His voice isn't husky, so that must be because his vocal cords have been a little bad that day. Myungsoo hasn't improved his voice since 2016, his voice matured in that year as he became and adult and no longer the teenager who debuted in 2010 at the age of 18. That's why the notorious change in his voice to a deeper one. But that change didn't happen from one day to another since between 2013, 2014 and 2015 you could already notice a gradual thickening in his singing voice, as in the song Last Romeo, Back, 24 hours, his solo stage "Love of my Life", etc, until he performed on King off Masked Singer and everyone could hear that change in his voice. But the change didn't stop there as his voice kept getting deeper and deeper even while speaking, which when he appeared on Knowing Brothers for their drama "Miss Hammurabi" the show's MCs pointed out as his voice was much thicker, and he said that it was due to his role of judge that he played in the drama. Myungsoo has perfected his singing technique over the years because he loves to sing too, but his current voice is due to the result of the natural change in his voice as he became an adult man and at the same time perfecting his vocal techniques over the years when he worked doing the songs on INFINITE or his OST's.
Sungyeol said in an interview that during the preparations for the comeback many of the members began to get sick, he said that he caught a cold and that the members were having a difficult time due to fatigue. That may explain that, most likely, Myungsoo really could have been sick during the recording of this, since his voice is actually very clear when singing.

13 years, and infinite still slaying those live vocals. they're so used to singing live, so when circumstances won't allow it, they make it obvious that lipsyncing is not part of their repertoire.
i would honestly call infinite the blueprint of live singing and synchronized dancing. back when they were really active they were known as some of the most sharp dancers who never used lip syncing and rarely used backing track
If I'm not mistaken, the way they trained for their stamina for both dancing and singing is really out of the box method. They had to run/run while singing on the beach. Can just imagine how hard it is to walk on sand instead they had to run. Infinite known for their synchronize choreography and how innovative the formation changes are. And I think everyone will be agreeing with me that their iconic, gravity-defying "scopion's dance" move in BTD become really popular till this day. Some popular groups incorporated it in some of their choreographies for their song. All thanks to their former member Hoya (main dancer) who participated in making the move we all know today. The move wasn't originally in the choreo. Sungkyu is the leader and now he's the CEO for INFINITE Company and he uses his own money. Sungkyu do it to hold trademark rights to the names related to INFINITE's activities (songs,choreographies, concerts even theirs fandom's name 'INSPIRIT'
Infinite have: 2 main vocalists (3rd from the left, also a leader with a voice that pierces your heart, and the 5th from the left, who heals the pierced heart with his warm tone) EDIT: after watching your Patreon reactions, you were the most impressed by them. They are the stability of Infinite and have the most parts. they used to have 2 all-rounders (the 2nd from the left = the blue haired guy, and one former member, who isn't in the video but he also has a very beautiful voice), who were both main dancers, main rappers and vocalists (I would say lead vocalists). They also had a hip hop sub unit (Infinite H) together. Dongwoo (the one with blue hair) does all the former member's rap now as well as a lot of his singing parts too (for example in Bad when he had that high singing part and then went straight into rap, the singing part used to be the former member's) then the three youngest members: the 6th guy who is a vocalist and did rap in a few songs, he doesn't often have many parts but they are usually the killing parts. I think he danced a lot in the video because he was bored. In many of the songs his part is near the end, so he didn't get to sing in some of them in the video. xD the 4th guy, who is a lead vocalist (him and the blue haired guy are very passionate about harmonies) the 1st guy, the vocal and the youngest The leader (3rd guy from the left) also has a solo Killing Voice video, which is amazing as well. His discography is so beautiful. He has mostyl rock songs (mostly lighter kind). Definitely worth checking out (if you search Kim Sung Kyu - Killing Voice, you will find it, it's from June) since you can hear him in many different registers and with different tones than the ones he uses in Infinite songs. Also funny that you mentioned Eunkwang. I think Eunkwang was compared to Sung Kyu a few times (Infinite are an earlier group) and they are friends, both hilarious on variety shows and they both do musicals (and of course great singers). BtoB overall do have some similar vibes with Infinite. They have songs without rap as well, since everyone can sing. And actually the main vocalists were also trained in rap, so they could do it. One of them did a rap that was featured in one of his solo songs, when the featured rapper couldn't come and perform with him at his concert. xD
i'm a new fan to infinite after watching their killing voice session. I love sunggyu and woohyun's vocals so much. u can tell they are the main vocalist just by seeing their singing skills. i am slowly getting to know the rest of them as well. i also watched their online concert recently and really enjoyed their performance
Infinite WAS actually the original synchronized group. they used to train for 18 hours a day. and they became famous with their song Be Mine because of their knife-like dance or synchronization. Some of their members have done musical, and act in a drama. Myungsoo (blue shirt, cool guy) is an actor, Woohyun (the one with great mic technique) and Sungyeol (the one who have the least line) have a drama together. also, another fact Woohyun and Key are friends and they have a unit. that was something new because its a unit where the member are from different group. Sunggyu (white shirt, main vocal) is the leader. when you said eunkwang, all i can think about is how their members bully them in variety shows. but he really has the leader aura.
I've been a fan of Myungsoo's voice since the first day I heard his voice, that's why In the past I always felt very sad hearing so little of his voice in INFINITE's songs, and only consoled myself by listening to his covers on his solo stages in INFINITE concerts and his OST's of his dramas. Myungsoo's voice has always been beautiful, super sweet and full of emotion, always putting his whole heart into singing. I'm in love with his voice and that's why I'm so happy when vocal coaches give their opinion about his beautiful voice ❤.

As a Nam Woohyun biased fan, the second boy from right, I’m a little sad that he’s shown so little in this clip. He plays the role of singing the highest pitches (not shown on the clip-his part comes later than the other main vocalist so it‘s cut). But then his voice is originally very low he’s got wide range of voice color, great at ballads to dance musics, even rock musics. This group is known for performing all their concerts with band sessions, and never lip sings. Please do check out his solo lives too! Thank you so much X)

1:50 I totally agree with you on this point about post production after listening to a lot of Killing voice perfs of other artists. Other ytubers react to them also mention it and I notice some fans in the comment section are just too stubborn to admit that their favs are singing with post production, which is not at all considered as bad. Its just their company preferences, like you said!

Originally, there were 7 members, the one who left the group was a main rapper as well as a main dancer. That’s why you see only one main rapper here. 13 years in this industry, they have been through so many things, so a comeback after 5 years means a lot not only to them but also their fans. They have a live concert today as the first day. Their live performance still maintains the same quality (even though the fans quite worry because they are getting older hahaha 😂). Glad to see you react to infinite！ They originally consist of 7 members and one of them left the group. They are considered one the most talented groups in the kpop history not only due to their ability to release bangers, but also their ability to sing and dance perfectly during live stages. All the member are able to sing well especially for the rappers/main dancers because most people would think rappers / main dancers cannot sing that well. There’s multiple occasions the main vocals are not able to attend live stages and the rappers/main dancers and sub vocals can substitute their part perfectly. The fact that you heard Dongwoo that often is because the one who left the group Hoya have a bunch of vocal (yeah even some high tones are sung by main dancer) and rap lines in their songs and especially in the more recent releases, you can barely find rap lines so Dongwoo and Hoya have a lot of vocal lines. So after Hoya left Dongwoo is covering all his part.
Actually, when this first came out, i felt kinda weird, bcs woohyun (the blue shirt guy, 2nd from the right), his voice seems less powerful. He is known for his very powerful vocal, but here, although it's still very great, it feels different from before. Then, it was revealed that he just recovered and had surgery for his very rare gastrointestinal cancer😢😢. Knowing that it makes me proud of how strong he is.
They are a hyper group in general but one of the reasons they are so hyper is because they are so relaxed. I think a lot of the other groups are concentrating so hard on the task ahead, they tense up subconsciously. But to Infinite, who sings live every time, they are relaxed.
As inspirit since 11 years ago till noww, I would like to say that the fact is, woohyun is the 1st main vocalist of this group (guy at two from right), then sungkyu(guy in the middle with white shirt) as leader and main vocalist too and after that L (guy at sungkyu's right) also the main vocalist but his main role is as visual of this group. Im so touch when hearing that dongwoo (guy that you love the most) sang hoya's part including his fast rap that just available for hoya but now dongwoo grown up well and showed that he can sing thats part too, i miss hoya soo much😢 hoya and dongwoo have the same talent. Both of them are main dancers and rappers in infinite and both can go through to a really nice vocal part too like dongwoo did in this vid, he sang some of hoya's vocal part too here😢
First off, thank you very much for reacting to them 💛 Gotta agree with your choice Dongwoo is really the all-rounder of the group. He is the main dancer, main rapper, and a great vocalist too. You see him covering a lot of rap parts because they previously have another rapper-vocalist as well. He left the group around 2017. He actually didn't know hpw to rap at the beginning but he learned rap along with the other their other former rapper hoya because their tone suits the rapper voice. The confident one in white is indeed the leader Kim Sungkyu and it would be awesome if you can check out his killing voice as well because it sooooo goood and he's very pleased he did it all in one take 🤣 💛🥹✨ ( please check it out too I love how you reacted to them 🥹🥹🥹) All their concerts are done with a live band so they are very used to singing live while still dancing perfecfly. Infinite used to be 7 members with 2 rappers. Since 2018 they became 6 so Dongwoo became a full time rapper. All of them have vocal and vocal support positions but is a full-of-singers group! They have a new song from their latest album called 시차 (Time Difference) it has a very fresh arrangement for them & Sungjong (the most left with the dark blazer whose voice you mentioned could be utilised more) his voice really stands out in the track. It’s amazing! I think he deserves more credit, he wasn’t always this stable and the people around him always ask him to go practice more as a singer, but I’m sure he wouldn’t have come this far without effort. He’s improved a lot and adds so much to the group. He’s also the youngest of the group💛 Sunggyu (yes you’re right the leader!) also has a dingo Killing Voice of his own! He has his own solo career (they all do!) & his songs are really great you may want to give them a listen, he has a long discography. Dongwoo (the rapper) often is covering another rapper’s lines, who left the group. Woohyun (who you described “sweet potato”ㅋㅋ) has many songs on Immortal Song. You may want to check them out, he is a very experienced and emotional singer but probably didn’t stand out as much here. He’s so great, I have been a fan for 13 years😭 Recently he has been sounding slightly weaker and not straining his voice/ hitting high notes much, especially during their concert he did not sing some of their iconic high notes in certain songs, it could be due to a surgery he had in April and he’s not in the best health/stamina, could really tell he was tired during the concert. He has great control of his vocals and can be very powerful too. Sungyeol (most right) isn’t actually the main dancer. He’s a weak singer, doesn’t have much lines but definitely became slightly more stable over the years! The main dancer was the guy that left. I guess Dongwoo is the “main dancer” now but they are not fixated on such titles I guess, now that they are older their choreography compliments all of them, both the guy that left & Dongwoo were from a dance background/underground hip hop/dance scene and are great dancers with different styles, which explains his presence. I never expected Infinite will come out in your reaction video because they're famous for the dance. I'm a super long time inspirit since 2012 and I've been watched a full concert of Infinite and all other track in the album, they got so many genre. "If in this group everyone sings and there is only one rapper it is my dream come true" 😂😂, INFINITE had 2 rappers at the beginning. At the time of INFINITE's debut it was not very usual for there to be so many rappers in a group, unlike today where new male groups can mainly hear rap instead of lyrics and more vocal and singing.
I was lucky enough to see them live in early 2016 and can confirm how incredible they are!!!! They toured with a live band so there was no backing track from what I could tell. I also loved the different instrumental arrangements they had to do. I knew it would be an amazing concert but they really surpassed my expectations. I'm happy to see them still getting so much love and respect!
About the "singerish rapper" that's Sungyeol, and the way he raps that part in Cover Girl is the result of him imitating Dongwoo's rap (the blue haired one) as a joke ind the producer liking it and letting him do it like that in the final recording. He was just mimicking how Dongwoo would rap that verse hahahaha

thank you so much for reacting to infinite!! yes, it would be so great if you could react to their live performances on your main channel! they actually just had a concert today using the live band they're always proud of having in their concerts. the blue haired guy (dongwoo) is actually also the main dancer of the group! the two main vocalists are the white shirt with shorts guy (leader sunggyu) and the blue patterned shirt with jeans guy (woohyun). the vocalist in between them is myungsoo/L and he's the visual! his voice has improved significantly throughout the years. I would definitely suggest checking out some of woohyun's performances on the singing program "immortal songs" if you can- he didn't have many singing parts in this video, but he actually holds the record for the highest score received among idols on immortal songs. also, there used to be another rapper/dancer, hoya, but he left the group in 2017. so technically yes, dongwoo is the only member with the rapper position now :D in case you didn't know, infinite just made a comeback after 5 years with their own agency 'infinite company'. they're planning on being very active as a group again from now on and have many things planned for the future 🥳 p.s. infinite popularized synchronized dancing in kpop and woohyun popularized the finger heart 🫰
FYI They're using band for their concert so they used to singing live. Its already over 100 concert. In my opinion they sound better in live performance than in recording 😂 There are 2 main vocals, you can hear them well in ballad songs like voice of my heart, still i miss you, why me and so on They're very playful and fun, and their stage manner is the best Hopefully, you can react to other songs too. Katriinka, you just made my day. I never expected this video. Infinite was my very first and ult kpop group. When they became inactive, I stopped listening to kpop. It's just, this 2021, I discovered stray kids and became a stay. Infinite was focusing in their individual career for the past 5 years while the members were on military. Just this year, their leader, sungkyu (which is in the middle) acquired the ownership of their songs including their name from their previous company which is woolim. They founded their company now named infinite company. Infinite is one of the very first group who made their agency successful. Aside from being known to sing live and heavily dependent on their vocals, they are named as the synchronization king of 2nd gen because they are so good in dancing. Infinite was supposedly 7 memberz, but their main dancer/ lead rapper, hoya, separated from the group to pursue his dream. 2nd gen was more on position focused group but infinite defies that one. And throughout the years non vocalist members was able to improve their voices specially L and dongwoo. Because hoya departed from the group, most of his lines was turned over to dongwoo (both vocals and rap) Starting from the guys with the unique sweet voice: Sungjong: the youngest or maknae Dongwoo: the main rapper, and lead dancer. He is duo with the previous member who has left. He is assigned more on rapping and dance breaks. But recently became active in singing because he is on musical theater. The leader once joke that "maybe they should learn rap because dongwoo is so good in singing nd might replace them Sungkyu: the leader and main vocalist. He has solos and usually in a rock genre. Most of the members learned from his singing styles. He is also involve in musical theather L: known as the 2nd gen visual. Among the members L has the most improvement in singing. Through the years he worked hard to improve his skills Woohyun: the main vocalist. He is more into ballad and belting songs. Also involved in musical theather. I don't speak English but I need to point out how iconic this group is. They came to the industry to bring something different in their time, belonging to a not very well-known agency. From the beginning they had their own style, that's why they caught my attention. Even the sub unit songs that the rappers had were pretty good, they always kept their unique style and good songs. I can directly say that their discography is one of the best in K-pop, and they also stood out for their synchronization in dance. And Sunggyu's (the leader) voice is one of my favorites. The album I want to highlight about them is 'Paradise'. Seriously, Infinite deserves all the admiration and recognition. And since you pointed out that you liked Myungsoo's voice, I remember the time he belittled his own voice with a quit derogatory comment, and looking quite upset...I always liked his voice. And I guess over time he gained more confidence.
I don't know if someone mentioned it but INFINITE always sing live and the leader set up INFINITE Company so he is the CEO and they are their own bosses now. With other words they choose if and how much postproduction happens
Hoya, the main dancer and rapper, left the group😢 so there's only one rapper in this group right now. Infinite literally was amost famous kpop boy group between 2011-13 (then EXO took their position). When I was 6th grade, which is 2012? i guess, so many classmates loved them😂 And they are known as a synchronized dance move

I came here again after knowing that woohyun had a cancer and a surgery. I was really thinking why his aura and vibe here is not the same. And I observed that he don't sing like before. Now I know why during this dingo killing voice he is still recovering. He also said that he might now regain his singing ability because he had difficulty in breathing. Hoping he will regain his health and condition. But I know his trying. Please support his new song.
Finally L getting some appreciation for his vocals ;__; He actually worked with Sunggyu a lot to improve his technique - he sounds completely different to when they first started out, he has a lot more support and power now. You can even see a few times they employ the same technique when singing and it's really interesting! (also yes, he was sick or at least very tired)
Also Dongwoo (blue hair) is the main rapper and dancer, who is now covering Hoya's (ex-member) lines as well, hence why he raps and sings much more than in their original recordings. L, Sungjong (bright, feminine voice) and Sungyeol (who rapped for a bit) are sub-vocalists, while Sunggyu and Woohyun are the main vocals.

Woohyun is technically better according to analysis. The gap isn't big though.
I think people tend to choose who has more of a STYLISTIC type of singing or pretty vocal tone and view it as "oh, they are better", but that's really not the case although it sounds good. When it was OT7, anyone aside from Woohyun and Sunggyu were not worthy to be ranked.

The transition of Myungsoo (denim shirt) going from being shy about always singing the first line of the song to squeezing his eyes shut during solo stages at concerts to a confident and impressive singer. Boy has grown so much!
One of the reasons you hear Dongwoo (blue hair) doing all of the things all thoughout the video is because there used to be two dancer/rappers (both with great singing voices), and after Hoya left, Dongwoo inherited many of his parts. The other reason you hear him a lot is because THE MAN CAN APPARENTLY DO EVERY DAMN THING NO PROBLEM XD he's a total gem.
Infinite has such a great variety of vocal colors while being a coherent and consistent group. Really happy to see other people appreciate their charms and talent!! Thank you for this!!

The guy you choose as a favorite (blue hair) is Dongwoo, main rapper and IS the main dancer of the group. The guy you liked in the beginning is L or myungsoo (blue shirt, handsome, holding a water bottle) and he’s he visual but he has improved a lot vocally over the years especially after 2016. his technique used to be a lot more nasal and he worked hard to fix it, this might be why you thought he was sick. The guy you thought had leader charisma (white shirt) is Sunggyu and he’s definitely the leader and main vocalist. Woohyun is also a main vocalist (the other blue shirt, good with microphones) he tends to support the vocals of the whole group because his voice blends everyone elses nicely without standing out too much. Out of the two main vocalists woohyun has better vocal technique and he shines the best when doing emotional vocals because he sings with his entire heart. Sunggyu the leader has more texture and a more unique tone and he’s pretty popular as a soloist in South Korea. Both of them have solo songs you can check out. Lastly, the guy with the pretty voice is Sungjong, and the guy who did a short rap is Sungyeol and they’re both vocalists. Infinite as a whole have a ton of live performance videos, they’ve done like over a 100? concert and they have many songs that showcase their vocals like Diamond, Between me & You, and many others. Myungsoo's voice is still nasal, that's his natural voice. His voice isn't husky, so that must be because his vocal cords have been a little bad that day. Myungsoo hasn't improved his voice since 2016, his voice matured in that year as he became and adult and no longer the teenager who debuted in 2010 at the age of 18. That's why the notorious change in his voice to a deeper one. But that change didn't happen from one day to another since between 2013, 2014 and 2015 you could already notice a gradual thickening in his singing voice, as in the song Last Romeo, Back, 24 hours, his solo stage "Love of my Life", etc, until he performed on King off Masked Singer and everyone could hear that change in his voice. But the change didn't stop there as his voice kept getting deeper and deeper even while speaking, which when he appeared on Knowing Brothers for their drama "Miss Hammurabi" the show's MCs pointed out as his voice was much thicker, and he said that it was due to his role of judge that he played in the drama. Myungsoo has perfected his singing technique over the years because he loves to sing too, but his current voice is due to the result of the natural change in his voice as he became an adult man and at the same time perfecting his vocal techniques over the years when he worked doing the songs on INFINITE or his OST's.
Sungyeol said in an interview that during the preparations for the comeback many of the members began to get sick, he said that he caught a cold and that the members were having a difficult time due to fatigue. That may explain that, most likely, Myungsoo really could have been sick during the recording of this, since his voice is actually very clear when singing.

i would honestly call infinite the blueprint of live singing and synchronized dancing. back when they were really active they were known as some of the most sharp dancers who never used lip syncing and rarely used backing track
If I'm not mistaken, the way they trained for their stamina for both dancing and singing is really out of the box method. They had to run/run while singing on the beach. Can just imagine how hard it is to walk on sand instead they had to run. Infinite known for their synchronize choreography and how innovative the formation changes are. And I think everyone will be agreeing with me that their iconic, gravity-defying "scopion's dance" move in BTD become really popular till this day. Some popular groups incorporated it in some of their choreographies for their song. All thanks to their former member Hoya (main dancer) who participated in making the move we all know today. The move wasn't originally in the choreo.

they used to have 2 all-rounders (the 2nd from the left = the blue haired guy, and one former member, who isn't in the video but he also has a very beautiful voice), who were both main dancers, main rappers and vocalists (I would say lead vocalists). They also had a hip hop sub unit (Infinite H) together. Dongwoo (the one with blue hair) does all the former member's rap now as well as a lot of his singing parts too (for example in Bad when he had that high singing part and then went straight into rap, the singing part used to be the former member's)
then the three youngest members:
the 6th guy who is a vocalist and did rap in a few songs, he doesn't often have many parts but they are usually the killing parts. I think he danced a lot in the video because he was bored. In many of the songs his part is near the end, so he didn't get to sing in some of them in the video. xD
the 4th guy, who is a lead vocalist (him and the blue haired guy are very passionate about harmonies)

The leader (3rd guy from the left) also has a solo Killing Voice video, which is amazing as well. His discography is so beautiful. He has mostyl rock songs (mostly lighter kind). Definitely worth checking out (if you search Kim Sung Kyu - Killing Voice, you will find it, it's from June) since you can hear him in many different registers and with different tones than the ones he uses in Infinite songs. Also funny that you mentioned Eunkwang. I think Eunkwang was compared to Sung Kyu a few times (Infinite are an earlier group) and they are friends, both hilarious on variety shows and they both do musicals (and of course great singers). BtoB overall do have some similar vibes with Infinite.
They have songs without rap as well, since everyone can sing. And actually the main vocalists were also trained in rap, so they could do it. One of them did a rap that was featured in one of his solo songs, when the featured rapper couldn't come and perform with him at his concert. xD

Infinite WAS actually the original synchronized group. they used to train for 18 hours a day. and they became famous with their song Be Mine because of their knife-like dance or synchronization.
Some of their members have done musical, and act in a drama. Myungsoo (blue shirt, cool guy) is an actor, Woohyun (the one with great mic technique) and Sungyeol (the one who have the least line) have a drama together.
also, another fact Woohyun and Key are friends and they have a unit. that was something new because its a unit where the member are from different group.
Sunggyu (white shirt, main vocal) is the leader. when you said eunkwang, all i can think about is how their members bully them in variety shows. but he really has the leader aura.
I've been a fan of Myungsoo's voice since the first day I heard his voice, that's why In the past I always felt very sad hearing so little of his voice in INFINITE's songs, and only consoled myself by listening to his covers on his solo stages in INFINITE concerts and his OST's of his dramas. Myungsoo's voice has always been beautiful, super sweet and full of emotion, always putting his whole heart into singing. Woohyun (main vocalist) : he's voice is so powerful that it it can shield you from any harm seriously hahaha he sings and dance with full emotions as well. I believe, woohyun is the lead dancer now.

As a Nam Woohyun biased fan, the second boy from right, I’m a little sad that he’s shown so little in this clip. He plays the role of singing the highest pitches (not shown on the clip-his part comes later than the other main vocalist so it‘s cut). But then his voice is originally very low he’s got wide range of voice color, great at ballads to dance musics, even rock musics. This group is known for performing all their concerts with band sessions, and never lip sings. Please do check out his solo lives too! Thank you so much X)

1:50 I totally agree with you on this point about post production after listening to a lot of Killing voice perfs of other artists. Other ytubers react to them also mention it and I notice some fans in the comment section are just too stubborn to admit that their favs are singing with post production, which is not at all considered as bad. Its just their company preferences, like you said!

Originally, there were 7 members, the one who left the group was a main rapper as well as a main dancer. That’s why you see only one main rapper here. 13 years in this industry, they have been through so many things, so a comeback after 5 years means a lot not only to them but also their fans. They have a live concert today as the first day. Their live performance still maintains the same quality (even though the fans quite worry because they are getting older hahaha 😂). From the 1st one who wear Black blazer He is the Maknae(Youngest) and the vocalist in the Group and his name is SungJong. So the 2nd one with the blue hair he is the main rapper and the main dancer. He can sing too. He is the only one rapper who doing musicals in the Korean Industry too. His name is DongWoo(the 2nd oldest in the group) the 3rd one with the white T shirt and short. Yes as you said he is the one of main vocalist and he is the leader too. His name is SungGyu and he is the Oldest in the group. 4th one with blue T shirt and denim, he is the Main Visual as well as he is the lead Vocalist name L/MyungSoo. 5th one who wearing blue long sleeves, he is the main vocalist and the lead dancer of the group. And he is the in charge of high notes as well. His name is WooHyun(3rd oldest). The last one with the white long sleeves, he is the lead rapper and the vocalist in the group and his name is SungYeol.
All of them are not only singers and dancers. Some are actors, some are musical actors, some are Solo artists too and so on… they are multi talented band. They can do anything. Infinite actually know as Live performing band. Also they known as the King of Synchronization. They love to sing live and they hate to lip sync. Furthermore they have lot of high noted songs. Their vocal rage is incense. Every one has different types of vocals and as you said yes DongWoo is the only rapper now. They used to have 2 rappers 5 years before. But that member (Hoya) left the group 2017. He was the main dancer and the lead rapper. So after his departure DongWoo covering both rap and dancing positions with WooHyun and SungYeol.

SungYeol got the Lead rapper position after Hoya's Departure and His rapping skill also good. but seems like he hasn't confident in himself currently. maybe later after he practiced with Dongwoo then we can see Rap Sungyeol well in the future. infinite used to have 3 rappers, Dongwoo is main rapper (second person with white pants) , Sungyeol is sub rapper(Light blue long sleeve shirt far right) and Hoya is lead rapper , but Hoya he left the group. Usually most of the rap parts are Dongwoo and Hoya.

Glad to see you react to infinite！ They originally consist of 7 members and one of them left the group. They are considered one the most talented groups in the kpop history not only due to their ability to release bangers, but also their ability to sing and dance perfectly during live stages. All the member are able to sing well especially for the rappers/main dancers because most people would think rappers / main dancers cannot sing that well. There’s multiple occasions the main vocals are not able to attend live stages and the rappers/main dancers and sub vocals can substitute their part perfectly. The fact that you heard Dongwoo that often is because the one who left the group Hoya have a bunch of vocal (yeah even some high tones are sung by main dancer) and rap lines in their songs and especially in the more recent releases, you can barely find rap lines so Dongwoo and Hoya have a lot of vocal lines. So after Hoya left Dongwoo is covering all his part.
Actually, when this first came out, i felt kinda weird, bcs woohyun (the blue shirt guy, 2nd from the right), his voice seems less powerful. He is known for his very powerful vocal, but here, although it's still very great, it feels different from before. Then, it was revealed that he just recovered and had surgery for his very rare gastrointestinal cancer😢😢. Knowing that it makes me proud of how strong he is.
They are a hyper group in general but one of the reasons they are so hyper is because they are so relaxed. I think a lot of the other groups are concentrating so hard on the task ahead, they tense up subconsciously. But to Infinite, who sings live every time, they are relaxed.
As inspirit since 11 years ago till noww, I would like to say that the fact is, woohyun is the 1st main vocalist of this group (guy at two from right), then sungkyu(guy in the middle with white shirt) as leader and main vocalist too and after that L (guy at sungkyu's right) also the main vocalist but his main role is as visual of this group. Im so touch when hearing that dongwoo (guy that you love the most) sang hoya's part including his fast rap that just available for hoya but now dongwoo grown up well and showed that he can sing thats part too, i miss hoya soo much😢 hoya and dongwoo have the same talent. Both of them are main dancers and rappers in infinite and both can go through to a really nice vocal part too like dongwoo did in this vid, he sang some of hoya's vocal part too here😢

First off, thank you very much for reacting to them 💛 Gotta agree with your choice Dongwoo is really the all-rounder of the group. He is the main dancer, main rapper, and a great vocalist too. You see him covering a lot of rap parts because they previously have another rapper-vocalist as well. He left the group around 2017. He actually didn't know hpw to rap at the beginning but he learned rap along with the other their other former rapper hoya because their tone suits the rapper voice. The confident one in white is indeed the leader Kim Sungkyu and it would be awesome if you can check out his killing voice as well because it sooooo goood and he's very pleased he did it all in one take 🤣 💛🥹✨ ( please check it out too I love how you reacted to them 🥹🥹🥹) All their concerts are done with a live band so they are very used to singing live while still dancing perfecfly. They just had their concert yesterday actually after coming from 5-year hiatus. They recently establish their own company with the CEO being the leader of the group (the confident one) they are all in different entertainment companies but they establish a whole company/building solely for infinite promotions so they're definitely back yay!! 🥹💛

INFINITE has Dongwoo as much as Sungkyu and Woohyun with his great talent for the vocal parts.Even more so after Hoya left.I am glad you explained Dongwoo's presence in such precise and loving terms!
Infinite used to be 7 members with 2 rappers. Since 2018 they became 6 so Dongwoo became a full time rapper. All of them have vocal and vocal support positions but is a full-of-singers group!

They are overall singers and have 2 main vocals. You got one correct, Sunggyu the leader. Another one is Woohyun the sweet potato guy.
Infinite concert is not just about live singing..it is live singing with live band at the back. They have been doing this since the first concert.

They have a new song from their latest album called 시차 (Time Difference) it has a very fresh arrangement for them & Sungjong (the most left with the dark blazer whose voice you mentioned could be utilised more) his voice really stands out in the track. It’s amazing! I think he deserves more credit, he wasn’t always this stable and the people around him always ask him to go practice more as a singer, but I’m sure he wouldn’t have come this far without effort. He’s improved a lot and adds so much to the group. He’s also the youngest of the group💛
Sunggyu (yes you’re right the leader!) also has a dingo Killing Voice of his own! He has his own solo career (they all do!) & his songs are really great you may want to give them a listen, he has a long discography.
Dongwoo (the rapper) often is covering another rapper’s lines, who left the group.
Woohyun (who you described “sweet potato”ㅋㅋ) has many songs on Immortal Song. You may want to check them out, he is a very experienced and emotional singer but probably didn’t stand out as much here. He’s so great, I have been a fan for 13 years😭 Recently he has been sounding slightly weaker and not straining his voice/ hitting high notes much, especially during their concert he did not sing some of their iconic high notes in certain songs, it could be due to a surgery he had in April and he’s not in the best health/stamina, could really tell he was tired during the concert. He has great control of his vocals and can be very powerful too.
Sungyeol (most right) isn’t actually the main dancer. He’s a weak singer, doesn’t have much lines but definitely became slightly more stable over the years! The main dancer was the guy that left. I guess Dongwoo is the “main dancer” now but they are not fixated on such titles I guess, now that they are older their choreography compliments all of them, both the guy that left & Dongwoo were from a dance background/underground hip hop/dance scene and are great dancers with different styles, which explains his presence.
The song 함께 from the Grow “OST” is from their own documentary film, it’s composed by Woohyun and the members also had a part in writing the lyrics together♾️

I never expected Infinite will come out in your reaction video because they're famous for the dance. I'm a super long time inspirit since 2012 and I've been watched a full concert of Infinite and all other track in the album, they got so many genre.
Also thanks for appreciate my bias Dongwoo because he's been active in musical lately, his vocal become better.

"If in this group everyone sings and there is only one rapper it is my dream come true" 😂😂, INFINITE had 2 rappers at the beginning. At the time of INFINITE's debut it was not very usual for there to be so many rappers in a group, unlike today where new male groups can mainly hear rap instead of lyrics and more vocal and singing.
I was lucky enough to see them live in early 2016 and can confirm how incredible they are!!!! They toured with a live band so there was no backing track from what I could tell. I also loved the different instrumental arrangements they had to do. I knew it would be an amazing concert but they really surpassed my expectations. I'm happy to see them still getting so much love and respect!
About the "singerish rapper" that's Sungyeol, and the way he raps that part in Cover Girl is the result of him imitating Dongwoo's rap (the blue haired one) as a joke ind the producer liking it and letting him do it like that in the final recording. He was just mimicking how Dongwoo would rap that verse hahahaha

I love how you identified the beauty of their live singing which is not something that a lot of people notice currently cause most people are blinded by production and what not and not really the quality of how well they manage the live performances compared to most of the 3rd and 4th gen groups which is why I fell in love with them way back in 2012

the blue haired guy (dongwoo) is actually also the main dancer of the group! the two main vocalists are the white shirt with shorts guy (leader sunggyu) and the blue patterned shirt with jeans guy (woohyun). the vocalist in between them is myungsoo/L and he's the visual! his voice has improved significantly throughout the years. I would definitely suggest checking out some of woohyun's performances on the singing program "immortal songs" if you can- he didn't have many singing parts in this video, but he actually holds the record for the highest score received among idols on immortal songs. also, there used to be another rapper/dancer, hoya, but he left the group in 2017. so technically yes, dongwoo is the only member with the rapper position now :D
in case you didn't know, infinite just made a comeback after 5 years with their own agency 'infinite company'. they're planning on being very active as a group again from now on and have many things planned for the future 🥳
p.s. infinite popularized synchronized dancing in kpop and woohyun popularized the finger heart 🫰

Katriinka, you just made my day. I never expected this video. Infinite was my very first and ult kpop group. When they became inactive, I stopped listening to kpop. It's just, this 2021, I discovered stray kids and became a stay. Infinite was focusing in their individual career for the past 5 years while the members were on military. Just this year, their leader, sungkyu (which is in the middle) acquired the ownership of their songs including their name from their previous company which is woolim. They founded their company now named infinite company. Infinite is one of the very first group who made their agency successful. Aside from being known to sing live and heavily dependent on their vocals, they are named as the synchronization king of 2nd gen because they are so good in dancing. Infinite was supposedly 7 memberz, but their main dancer/ lead rapper, hoya, separated from the group to pursue his dream. 2nd gen was more on position focused group but infinite defies that one. And throughout the years non vocalist members was able to improve their voices specially L and dongwoo. Because hoya departed from the group, most of his lines was turned over to dongwoo (both vocals and rap)
Starting from the guys with the unique sweet voice:
Sungjong: the youngest or maknae
Dongwoo: the main rapper, and lead dancer. He is duo with the previous member who has left. He is assigned more on rapping and dance breaks. But recently became active in singing because he is on musical theater. The leader once joke that "maybe they should learn rap because dongwoo is so good in singing nd might replace them
Sungkyu: the leader and main vocalist. He has solos and usually in a rock genre. Most of the members learned from his singing styles. He is also involve in musical theather
L: known as the 2nd gen visual. Among the members L has the most improvement in singing. Through the years he worked hard to improve his skills
Woohyun: the main vocalist. He is more into ballad and belting songs. Also involved in musical theather. Together with the leader they usually take the parts with high notes.
Sungyeol: vocalist. He also improved a lot from the past years.

I don't speak English but I need to point out how iconic this group is. They came to the industry to bring something different in their time, belonging to a not very well-known agency. From the beginning they had their own style, that's why they caught my attention. Even the sub unit songs that the rappers had were pretty good, they always kept their unique style and good songs. I can directly say that their discography is one of the best in K-pop, and they also stood out for their synchronization in dance. And Sunggyu's (the leader) voice is one of my favorites. The album I want to highlight about them is 'Paradise'. Seriously, Infinite deserves all the admiration and recognition.
And since you pointed out that you liked Myungsoo's voice, I remember the time he belittled his own voice with a quit derogatory comment, and looking quite upset...I always liked his voice. And I guess over time he gained more confidence.
I don't know if someone mentioned it but INFINITE always sing live and the leader set up INFINITE Company so he is the CEO and they are their own bosses now. With other words they choose if and how much postproduction happens

Infinite literally was amost famous kpop boy group between 2011-13 (then EXO took their position). When I was 6th grade, which is 2012? i guess, so many classmates loved them😂 And they are known as a synchronized dance move
