Thank you! I didn't measure the size, can you look for the part number in case a vendor mentions the dimensions? I am keeping a not and will check for you next time I open the radio.
This is just a guess but watching my video if I compare the battery to my workbench surface (each square is 10x10mm), it seems to be around 30-35mm long and 20mm wide. The part number is YE902030C so maybe this means thickness (9mm), width (20mm), length (30mm). Again, just a guess, but it seems like a good approximation based on my video footage.
Out of topic, i have a question: My 5.8g cloverleaf VTx antenna i bought online arrive bent. I have tried to bent it back but it doesn't look perfect as the product image. Do you think it will impact the range?
Yep, you disable self centering (of the vertical axis) on the right gimbal, enable self centering on the left gimbal, adjust your radio settings and you are ready! :) edit: SORRY, I replied as if I were talking about the ZORRO radio - please find my other reply, below
I am very sorry for confusing you, I replied as if I were talking about the ZORRO radio that has adjustment screws at the back of the radio's shell! For the T8 Pro I can't remember any self-centering toggle so maybe you have to swap the gimbals (remove the left gimbal and put it to the right, and vice versa).
Thanks for doing this video. I honestly dont know why they use those small lipo batteries. At 480mah you will be cycling them hundreds of times per year and the 2nd year they will be dead. Looks like they also wired it in parallel instead of series so they didnt need a BMS in the unit. Atleast they made the antenna mod easy with a cutout and the connector accessible...but I see no easy way to add an external module which makes this transmitter useless because the Tlite exists.
You're welcome, I am glad you found it useful! I don't know the reason why they went for this exact battery size, maybe it also has to do with shipping limitations, no idea. The fact that it doesn't support an external module is a bummer but on the other hand we are talking about a super small radio, which you can carry around without the screen module and fly. The antenna mod is very easy indeed, there are also tabs on the inside to hold the hex nut of the pigtail!
@@muteFPV I think it might be just a dimension problem. From your video, there is not space for bigger battery, and no way to add a removable 18650 because the back is taken up by the screen module and the grips are way to small. Atleast it supports power by usbc so thats something. I wanted to really like this transmitter but theres just too many downsides. Had to cancel my order lol
There is enough room at least for bigger LiPo batteries, this is why I am suspecting other reasons behind this. As much as I like portability, I am a big guy with big hands and it is difficult for radios this small to suit me. I haven't tried many others but for pinching this is one a no-go for me.
@@muteFPV havent bought that yet either, my friend does have one tlite and a t18 lite so I have been testing out his stuff. I'm still using my jumper ts8g v2 currently. I ride my bicycle to my flying spots so its nice to have portability. But I am looking at the jumper t18 lite for a full size transmitter since its cheaper than the tx16 and it has the same features other than built in charging, but i charge all my 18650 externally anyways.
Great video, as always 👍
Thank you very much for the support!
Awesome video, mate! 😃
That's a pretty interesting transmitter! I bet it's going to sell a lot!
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you mate, you too!
What sized button are you using at 6:26? I really want to add a couple momentary switches to my T8
I used a 7mm momentary pushbutton, had to trim the hole a bit because the stock switches are 5mm. Video will be ready soon ;)
Has anyone done the external module mod to this radio?
Great video. Do you happen to know the dimensions on that LiPo? I want to double them up in parallel for double capacity... just less foam packing.
Thank you! I didn't measure the size, can you look for the part number in case a vendor mentions the dimensions? I am keeping a not and will check for you next time I open the radio.
@@muteFPV Yep Thanks. I have been looking for a vendor with these batteries to get that info. No luck yet.

@@muteFPV Thanks for the heads up. That will help.

It may affect it, yes. But if it is an exposed cloverleaf like you describe, it will bend in your bag or in a crash soon anyway... :P
@@muteFPV do you think i should buy new one or just use this one?
Use it ofcourse and see how the signal is. Will you use it on the quad or on the goggles?
@@muteFPV I use it on the quad. I already have a pagoda on the goggles. I'll see how it goes. Thanks for the advice.
Nice! Are you planing a same video for the jumper t lite?
That will be interesting.
Congrats for your videos!
Καταπληκτικα
Ευχαριστώ πολύ! I don't have the T-lite so I highly doubt it :P
Same method to change from mode 1 to mode 2 on T8 Lite? Do I just switch sticks?
Hello! I don't have the Lite but I suppose yes
Hey is it possible to switch the trotthle stick to the right?
