Hey Mike. I LOVE your stories. The ones with Dudley, Bloomer, and the W&S engines are my favorites. And I've been dying for another RWS book, and this one is really special, Ethel is quite the character. Awesome book bro, can't wait for more!
Well, technically, Ethel wasn’t a Coffee Pot at first. She was rebuilt with a vertical boiler, and that’s what inspired Topham to build the first proper Coffee Pot. Bit of a technicality but I don’t care, we MUST save Ethel
Damn. All her hard work... quite literally swept away. Truthfully, I don't know much about railways, I'm but an enthusiast, but I can only imagine how heartbreaking the washed up tracks could have been. I'm glad Ethel found resolve, and how in classic RWS fashion, the concept she was introduced to at the start was the ultimate solution. Well done! Can't wait to see her back in steam, so to say!
I enjoyed that. Poor Ethel, she really was having a problem and she didn't want to admit it. But I loved how she came up with an idea to help save the day when they discovered the broken track.
