CC is a great player. When you are that good, you become a target of hateful mean people who’s desire is to try and make you look like your cocky and not as good as you think. Jmo

In all fairness you asked these players who made the team to give up their summer train with USA basketball and play in the Olympics qualifying tournament. If Clark had done that Im sure her selection would have been automatic. Clark was still in college and focused on the NCAA scoring title and a possible championship so she was a non participant. Now if you ask if she is needed on the team the answer is absolutely yes because they don't have a backup point guard for one and the one true point guard they have on the team is still not fully healthy. The team could have made a political move to put Clark on the team because Skylar Diggins is the only other pure point guard vet you could have gone with as a back up PG but her and Diana Tarusi don't get along. As the sport explodes people are coming for the USA it's no guarantee the men or women will come back with Gold.
