Thank you for sharing this! I noticed a soft spot last week that I was scared to investigate further, but you two made this look far less intimidating! I pulled the panel off the wall behind my shower faucet leading into the bedroom and noticed some mouse mess in there. I just caught the mouse on Friday, so my guess is it chewed on a water hose in the few weeks before I caught the little beast as it was VERY elusive. I'm buying a nice box cutter this evening on my way home and I'm going to take a look at the damage. Hopefully it's not extensive, I don't know if I'll be able to handle it if it goes under the bed. That said, if I have to rip up all my vinyl floor, I'm putting down peel and stick vinyl tile over it-if something similar happens in the same spot, I won't need to replace ALL my flooring.
@@LikelyLost I think your personalities complement one another and are fun to watch :) So glad you got that done. It looked like a pretty big undertaking!
I had water damage in my Class A floor. Before I replaced the subfloor with plywood( was particle board) I sealed with wood stain.. So if there is a leak again , which I hope not it shouldn't damage the floor I replaced hopefully.. I only had some left over mahogany stain, so i will put a note in the user manual it is not black mold ;-)
Thank you so much for your video. I just boughgt a Class C and the guy I bought it from said it had a minor leak in the roof I looked at the ceiling and I see some wet spots but I'm hoping it's not too bad. if you have any suggestion I would greatly appreciate it. 1st time RV

I just adore you two. Dustin was cracking me up in this one... good work tackling this!
Aww thanks! 💛 Yeah Dustin's funny 😂 he has more of a youtube personality with his zingers. I'm glad we got the floor done though. It was a lot.

Always fun owning stuff. Thanks for the walk through
I wish we just built out a school bus so we knew everything on the inside and out. They probably last a lot longer too 😂
I’m about to do this in my camper AND my floating tiny house. Leaks are a nightmare!!! Good luck guys!
Yes leaks are awful!! This repair has held up so far thankfully. Good luck working on your floors! 👩🔧
@@LikelyLost thank you!!

How did it go? Being a first time rv owner is a treat. I’m experiencing it myself!
Awesome info..
The cat is like, that boy has no ider what he is doing.
Thanks for the tutorial. Can you abstain from adding that horrendous music though? Ambient sounds would be better
