  • Greg is fired up about the best rubber boot ever made, HISEA. I have never promoted any boots on my videos, but the HISEA boot has proven its worth on our farm. For two winters my pair of HISEA boots have performed flawlessly, super tough warm boots. My farm boots have a very tough life, and these boots took the punishment! If your tired of buying expensive rubber boots that can't hack it, then you need to try a pair of HISEA boots. The best part of these boots is that they are half the cost of all competitors that I have tried in the past.

    Yes!!! Thank you Greg!!! I too hate throwing my hard earned money at junk products that don’t hold up. Boots are not cheap, and comfort matters. But the main thing is they have to hold up and not crack, tear, and leak. Rubber boots are essential tools on every farm/ranch. And boots that quickly crack, tear, or leak are a complete waste of money.
    I always have a brand new backup pair of rubber boots on hand at all times, because there will always come a day where even the best boots fail. If you don’t have the backup pair, you are gonna finish yer work day with cold wet feet (and that sucks). I’ve had years where I go through several pairs of boots and it just burns me that I had to waste that much money. It really pisses me off. And I totally felt you fire up the same way, and I was right there with you!

Then, I bought another one and they didn’t last for 6 months but they will give you a free pair of boots if you have them less than a year. I bought a pair of muck boots for summer time and they are awful too. The best muck boot I bought were very expensive that I can use for work. They are composite, ice resistant, and whole bunch of other stuff. They don’t make my feet sweat either but like I said expensive. Now I will buy one of those boots when my boots get worn out. "burning the brand". It's much like "busting out the store"( like minuchin and co-conspiritors did to Sears), but not seeking bankruptcy quite as fast. It's a form of fraud they can learn at wharton school of business. They establish a good product at a price we'll pay for a while, then snecretly begin selling a lesser quality product in the same packaging and name, implying that it's the same; getting extra profit till we catch on. by then they've bought or started a 'new' brand to burn.

    I have found over many years that boot companies place the seams in the boots or no reinforcement at the stress points ( ankle & top of foot) where the boot bends with walking causing failure in the boot. I haven’t tried this brand of boot yet but I just might now. Looks to be well made.

    You fix a boot the same way you patch a flat. It won't look pretty but it will save your boot. Red Wing has a rubber compound that coats any part of the boot and could be applied over the patch.

    I had given up on buying boots due to them developing stress cracks, punctures, and in some cases the outsole separates from the bottom and also some say they can be glued back on it really does not work. I have found when buying boots to get ones which are two or three sizes larger than my normal shoe size in case you want to wear an extra pair of socks. This is important with the duck boots or boots with stitching which connect the leather with the one piece rubber outsole as when you are putting them on you are not putting pressure or pulling up on the sewn part because once it breaks it cannot be resewn.

    • @gregjudyregenerativerancher
      @gregjudyregenerativerancher  Рік тому

      Yes, I always get at least one size bigger than my shoe size. It allows for socks and hand warmers to be tossed into the toe of the boot.

    About to see how warranty works. I’ve bought several pairs for my family. My 16 year-old’s are coming apart at the sole after 3 months. Surely replacement for defects isn’t limited to one time? If so I hope he gets more than three months out of the second pair.
    I bought the first couple of pairs from Hisea using Gregg’s code, but to be honest dealing directly with the company has been a big hassle. As a matter of fact two different pairs were out of stock and had to be refunded. The last three pair I’ve bought from Amazon. We’re all happy with the boots with the exception of these coming apart, although none are four months old yet.

There's always a debate and I learned about all the brands, M**k, La***se etc. The bottom line was the same with all of them failed at some point and depending on how heavily they are used/abused. This included mine after a year and a half of what I thought was mild use. In the end I spent a third of the cost for a similar failure rate and I will "goop" repair the pair I have and purchase another pair for the future. Respectfully...my 2 cents.

    Hi, I so enjoy your show. I went to there web sight, The 800g is not available. I only found them do to entering in 800g with the search. When you go using your link, this 800g boot is not listed anymore right now. Dang. I really need this kind of warmth. I have cold feet and want to go hunting. I sent a Chat to ask when they would be available. I'll report back what they say. It said, give them 24 hrs to reply to my request by email. This boot is right up my ally for what I was looking for to hunt and fish. Thank you. I hope we all can get this boot.

      @@gregjudyregenerativerancher I received a reply from Hisea boot company about when they will get this boot back in stock. I asked "When will the Apollp Pro 800g Insulated Hunting Boots be available?"
      This is the reply I just received. "It is estimate back in the next season, winter of 2023. Sorry." Dang, I can only afford one pair this year. I was looking forward to using them to go fishing and especially this fall to go hunting. I have a walking disability and my son is helping me. When fishing I can't get in the river.I will need something to keep warm and dry then. I live in the Olympic Peninsula, specifically Port Angeles WA. Thank you for helping me to pick out a great boot. I see now when comparing them just how good they will be.

    Well, I ordered two pair. One for me and one for my wife. Mine, one is bigger than the other. It's not "my" foot causing the problem. My wife's are falling apart before she even put them on. We contacted HISEA they sent out a replacement pair that are eve worse. Pieces of crap! Quality just is not there. At least my muck brand boots start out with a decent level of mfg quality. Sorry but you got used Greg. Cheap Chinese mfg. I just wasted my money.
