The universal baffles don’t work to reduce your noise of the exhaust overall but they do reduce the high frequency sound. I bought 4 baffles on Amazon and I also have an exhaust just as paper weight in my garage.
Thank you for this video. I like a muscular sounding exhaust but any unpleasant sound over a long period of time, example , 100 mile ride, would likely lessen my enjoyment of the ride. I wish there were videos like yours of all the available exhaust for the Ryker. I have Akropovic OEM on my Rally and I think nailed it.
Nice video. Back in 2007 buddy of mine showed me a trick with a flathead screwdriver to get those tension springs off and on. Never used anything else on those springs since. Again great video very informative. It's amazing to me how Can Am crammed the engine, transmission, fuel tank hell everything in that little space up front and still had room for a rack and pinion steering. How loud is the exhaust baffled? I'm looking to shed some weight on my Ryker but don't want to rattle the pictures off the wall or have people still hear me after I've left 5 minutes ago. Just something a hair louder then stock is what I'm looking for.
I have the tunable version myself. Sometimes i take the silencer out when i know im go fly down some back roads. Otherwise i run both the baffle and the silencer in the silber turbo tunable version
I bought a 42mm silencer and that exhaust is not as bad. I'm thinking of gutting the last stage of that exhaust and push a silencer up in there then put two stainless screws to hold it
Not sure why anybody would think putting a baffle in the lead pipe would have a significant impact. Any other applications have them in the mufflers or at the end. Also the one in the video the manufacturer claims is a baffle Is Not. A baffle Redirects some of the gasses to create a mixing effect. The piece in the video is a Straight Shot through it so it is doing absolutely nothing.

Thanks for the information.

Did you ever go back to the silber if not is it for sale ?
What if I can’t get the bolt out
People have their preference, but exhaust especially needs time to "bake in" before it sounds right.

I been running the silencer and baffle... Do you notice any difference in performance when you take out the silencer
@@laurentterrell321 def seems faster when I pull out the silencer. It might just be the loudness though

To me the ryker doesn’t have a good exhaust sound , doesn’t matter what exhaust you throw on it
I agree.
