That man does not change his attitude, his language, his personality at all despite his surroundings. His straightforwardness stunned the staff members. He challenged them and called them out, especially those who did not participate. The look on some of their faces was priceless. People often ask what’s so special about Prime and why others tend to gravitate towards him. Well, this is why.

I went to CU and tutored a football player in micro Econ back in 2011. Never asked for anything in but he always hooked me up with free lunch he’d get being a player. He invited me to the team house party one night. I was the only scrawny kid in there… introd me to everyone. Highly respect coach prime shouting out student tutors. Didn’t have many friends but was stoked to know someone on the football team & help out where I could

I absolutely love this man! Coach Prime is THE man!
I love how he’s honest with the players and staff and doesn’t blow smoke. For example 80 percent won’t make the NFL so they need to get ready for their future. So many people are afraid to be honest with these kids because they don’t want to hurt their feelings but it does not help them. Also where he told the equity person that all students regardless of need to be treated equally.
If your already on top how are you being treated equally? That doesn't make sense and I didn't hear that. Equality and Equity are two different coins

Because there is jealousy and hatred in people's hearts. Not everyone will like Coach Prime; he can't please everyone so he has told himself, I will not try to please everyone. Whoever he is supposed to please God has sent them across his pathway.

It's amazing to see Coach Prime's commitment to seeing that all aspects of the Buff's operations perform at the level he requires.
He had something for almost everybody. He recognized excellence already and questioned purpose. A few looked uncomfortable, but you cannot say Coach Prime is not about business. Love it!

We need more people like coach Prime. His interpretation of the DEI mumbo jumbo: "Create an atmosphere where black folk feel good." Direct and to the point. Perfect.
That's his interpretation through that short exchange, but unfortunately he's ignorant of that demonic agenda that exists only to propagate racism. I think he's also ignorant that these public schools are not much more than communist indoctrination camps, with CU being as left as they come. And you're right, we need many more like Deion in these schools to change the culture around.

Yea he cut right too the chase, as a black man I hate when people try to talk around me. No you’re here so I don’t feel excluded and ensure a fair environment. Got it. But I still have to bust my ass just like my white counterparts. I don’t get a free ride because I’m black. The diversity departments always forget that part.

Every staff and personnel employee needs to have a positive relationship with every student/coach on that team. Many of them just sit around and wait to be called on but lack innovation and commitment to Excellence! I'm glad coach told them how important their role is to these students, you are not just working for a paycheck - you are impacting these players lives and providing emotional, physical and spiritual support

There was a lot of great stuff in here, but the best part and the portion I LOVED the most was the hotel portion. Coach Prime hears second hand through a hotel that previously there’s been issues and it’s been allowed, and he wants a meeting with the hotel management to assure them that that nonsense is over. EXCELLENT stuff. Win on the field, but most importantly turn these boys into MEN. THANK YOU, Coach!
I was looking THIS exact comment because I know someone else out there felt the same way I did. He wanted to personally reach out to the hotel to see what happened and to make sure that THAT relationship doesn't sour.
Let me say this...I played professional basketball for almost 9 years. I've never seen a more hands-on Coach, and - an absolute professional "Leader"! Coach Prime has a pure vision of exactly what he wants, and what it takes to be successful. Unbelievable, and beautiful to watch. I'm glued to this channel all the way from Taipei, Taiwan. Proud of y'all! I look forward to following all the success that will follow in Coach Primes' footsteps. Great job on the media Deion Jr. 👏 ! Keep pushing family!
There is absolutely nothing fake about Coach Prime! He is an absolutely genuine man. Soon, the blank faces in that crowd will become reinvigorated by his energy.

Coach Prime could write a book on coaching and mentoring. This dude is all about his players and staff. This dude makes me want to strap the helmet on again. The social media content really makes you feel like you’re a part of the process.
Who does he think he is...he just showed you while displaying professionalism, respect/appreciation for what they do, yet straightforward with his message. Set the tone/expectations; buy in or you may get bought out. It takes a village for a successful football program. These young warriors are held to a standard on and off the field, and so should the adult support staff. Thanks Unc.

Why am I getting more and more emotional the more I see him doing what he does? He has a plan. He works that plan tirelessly. He fosters relationships so he builds an army around him in everything he does. What a warrior that leads by example every minute of every day. We are so blessed to have him a part of our program. And speaking for myself, I’m lucky to have him part of MY life.
I just tweeted that he’s putting on a masterclass on leadership and running an organization in real time for us all to witness
I think one reason he stands out as such an excellent leader is because, by contrast, virtually none of our elected politicians do the same.

I am a finance professional and never played football, but I learned so much about leadership in this 11 minute video. This man Deion is a prime example (no pun intended) of what effective leadership looks like. I hope MBA programs use him as case studies for business classes and maybe even invite him to speak. Business students could learn from him too.

"Imma start calling on people since you don't wanna talk to me." We've all had a teacher like that at some point in our lives. Really wants to engage with the class and wants the same energy back. I understand why some people are not the best leaders. Part of being a leader is motivation. Self-motivation is easy, but getting everyone else on the same page is very difficult
I used to hate those teachers early on in my teenage years but boy did they end up being the best teachers you had 😂

I understand the need for this department in years prior for the black players on the team. However, I think with Coach Prime bringing a culture shift to the program it is no longer needed anymore. Coach Primes culture shift will by default create the diversity that players need

Think about it. Coach Prime took the time to meet with all of these people, call on them, ask what they do, compliment them on jobs well done that he has seen. I'm willing to bet previous coaching staffs never meet with these people or knew who did what. He is bringing them all in and making them feel their contribution is as important as the next person. This is how you build a winner.
And this is how you create accountability. Probably no one ever talked to the facilities staff about trash and extra trash cans. But this coach notices everything!
