I'm in tears right now. I have a family history, (mother and sister have Endo) have excrutiating periods that cause me to miss work every month, and they've always been bad since I was young but they're worse now than ever. My gyno did a vaginal ultrasound and told me that I had polycystic ovaries, fibroids, and that those don't cause pain. She told me that I have dysmenorrhea, and that the fact that my periods were always painful meant that I likely did not have Endo. She told me birth control or having a child would fix my pain. I've been struggling for years with severe pain, have even lost jobs for needing too many sick days, I don't want children and my ADHD makes BC difficult buti would give it another shot. But now I'm almost positive that my symptoms are being dismissed, because this description sounds like what I am going through. Would a blood test potentially rule out PCOS?
I've been struggling with hair loss and rosacea and a total lack of weight loss even with a personal trainer and calorie counting. Maybe I could have both?
I would do anything to be able to get rid of this pain. Bonus points if doing so gives me back some hair, my skin, and let's my body come back a little bit.

I went 10 years without being diagnosed had surgery a few years ago it helped for a little bit and I unexpectedly got pregnant. They put in the Mirina and that helped for a little bit but then I started ovulating again and now I’m on orilissa it’s been about a month and it isn’t helping at all. I go to the doctor on the 13th I am to the point of wanting a hysterectomy to get rid of the pain

I have stage 3 endometriosis. I had a period for 2 years straight of mainly free bleeding. My surgery was in Nov. 2019 and since then, I have been on Orlissa and it had helped me a TON! The doctor said it was a newer medication but since then, my periods are so much easier but cramps are the same.

I do have endometriosis and I’m taking visanne for almost a year since it’s pandemic I can’t go to hospital for follow ups but thru phonecalls of my ob only. The problem is how will I know if I’m getting ok or what? I’ve been drinking visanne, december and February I didn’t had my period, was it normal? The pain still there and worst is every time it ticks,

Hello, on a video you said it can grow outside the lungs as well, how do you know it’s around your lungs as well, how can you detect that? After having endometriosis removed with surgery, can it grow again? If so, how do you know you have endometriosis again? This are some questions I am very concerned about, thank you!
