I'm so excited for Inktober this year, I myself will not be participating but I get to watch others make some really cool stuff.
This is my second year participating in Inktober. I love this challenge so much. It can be stressful, but it's so rewarding in the end when you have all 31 drawings to look back on!

I'm mainly following the official Inctober list, and my theme is an old, evil, fortuneteller and how all the different drawing are results of her trickery

It’s my first inktober and I’m so excited to practice and experiment with my tools! I’m using the official list mostly, but I made a list of ideas of subjects to possibly apply to the prompts when I get stuck 🤦♀️

Bristol paper works well for technical pend as well as watercolor/ink wash and is extremely smooth

This is really beautiful! I will also be taking part in inkktober this year. Rather than following prompts I will be drawing whatever catches my interest and completing pieces that have been hanging over me for years. My main goal is to improve my mind set and hopefully see some improvement in my art as well.

So excited that several of the artists I follow are making videos every day, and I'm excited to participate FOR REAL this year. I'm gonna be experimenting with different kinds of inks and markers that I have and just draw cute fun stuff that I normally don't get a chance to try. I really like doing shading and stuff with ink washes so I'm excited to get to show that off

This is my first year joining Inktober, I'm loosely following the official prompts. The main goal for me it's to improve my inking skills and my ability to come with original concepts. I'm taking a experimental route, I'll try to use ink washes, micron and a brush pen.
im super excited it's my first time doing inktober! todays prompt was fire which was really awesome because i was working with ink and bleach at college (which mades really beautiful fire scenes)

I love the drawing, it's beautiful. I struggle to watch videos that have been sped up so much because it gives me motion sickness. Am I the only one that suffers with that?
I'm gonna try and participate this year in Inktober. My goal is just to draw every day. No prompts/themes but I do find myself looking at Jake Parker's prompt list for ideas while I sketch up ideas.

I haven't practiced inking in a long time since I'm primarily a graphic designer and work digital, and I was pretty discouraged working on my piece this morning. Still, you really blew it out of the water, I love this piece so much. It's really got a sense of completion! You've inspired me to keep going and keep posting even if I'm not as proud

Beautiful work! This year I'm using the Drawtober prompts list mainly and trying to focus on values in my pieces.
I can relate a lot about the brush pen situation. So this year when i tried my first inktober drawing (with the brush pen) it was just a complete mess. I really loved that pen when i got it a year and a half ago but now it just keeps stressing me out SO MUCH. Especially because my experience with the pen and the ink is that i leaks a lot. The Brush tip is always soaked in ink and when i start drawing i need to wipe 90 % off which just wastes so much of the ink (which is also expensive af).
At the moment my favorite Ink Pen is definitely the Fudenosuke Tombow Calligraphy Pen. I don't draw a lot with it but it's my go to together with the Micron Pens.
This is my first inktober so I'm excited to improve my line work. I need to conquer my line jitters!

I've been using circular designs for this inktober too so far, it looks very organic! I really like the results!

I'm unfortunately taking on too much this October to be able to participate in Inktober, but I'm hoping that next year I'll have the opportunity too! Your artwork has really inspired me to pick up my pencils again and give ink a try. I've always been terrified of the permanency of ink, but each of your videos shows the beauty that can come from it.
Yay, this is my first year! I'm actually trying to follow the prompt list,and now I see all my favorite artists aren't D: I'm a little disappointed because I wanted to see how they all interpreted the same word into their art, but this is such a wonderful piece, great job as always!

This year's Inktober I decided on drawing environments every day, so that I can improve both in drawing environments and in inking :D
This is my first year doing inktober and I am super excited and nervous. My goal is to expieremnt with different inking techniques and draw things that I could get better at. Beautiful illustration, I can't wait to see what else you have in store for this year's inktober :)

Your book is going to be so beautiful. Your line work is always my favorite part of your illustrations, so I'm excited to see it! I decided to take part in inktober at the last minute, I literally had about 15 minutes before the day ended, but I got it done, lol. It's not nearly as pretty as yours, but I'm happy with it.
I just love your clean linework in general, it's absolutely gorgeous!
And I'm also doing Inktober again this year! My goal is to get through the entire month this time around but I'll be super happy if I manage more than the 6 or 7 days I did last year. I'm going to follow Jake Parker's official prompts unless I get other ideas on the day and I'm intending to just overall be working more on my natural media skills as I've been holed up in digital art for so long. So most likely I'll end up with a range of mixed media pieces =)
