    Fantastic. Having watched a few 'similar' video tutorials that just didn't get me the understanding I wanted and maybe used lesser techniques, I think this one has done so with the perfect mix of 'why and how'. Thank You.

    Great! I only oprefer to use the clone tool instead of the brush to paint that fuzzy part. I also like to add noise over the parts I did paint or clone, due to not let it looks to smooth in comparision to the image around it, that naturaly have some texture from the photo.

    • @AffinityRevolution
      @AffinityRevolution  2 роки тому

      Yes, but you would need to work on each person's skin one at a time, so it would take a little while to edit.

    When would you do this in the editing process? Before or after you do lighting and color adjustment? Do lighting and color first then export. Then re open and do this?

    • @AffinityRevolution
      @AffinityRevolution  Рік тому +1

      I would edit the skin after editing color & lighting. Exporting & re-opening the photo would be a great way to do that :)

    Thank you. This is most helpful. I noticed you duplicated the low frequency layer and only used this layer. Nothing appears to have been done on the original low frequency layer. Is there any reason for this?

    • @AffinityRevolution
      @AffinityRevolution  Рік тому +1

      I did that so that I could show a "before & after", but you do not need to do that in your own editing. :)

    Please answer this: What is the difference between contrast, sharpness, and anti-aliasing?

    • @AffinityRevolution
      @AffinityRevolution  2 роки тому +7

      Contrast is used on your entire image, to make the lights lighter and the darks darker. Sharpness is used to make the small details in a photo pop a little more. Anti-aliasing is used on low resolution images to make jagged edges look smoother. I hope that helps! 😊

      @@AffinityRevolution Sorry for the non-video questions. Does a High Pass filter use grey color to find and accentuate the edges of pixels which in turn increased the contrast AND sharpness? I think a focus on the pixel edges is important. Maybe not. Love you work and am inspired by your videos. I wont bother with any more questions today :)
