Hi Kenza--My name is Nick, and I'm a lawyer with ZERO math/engineering training. However, I used to be a professor, and am a good self-learner (even for topics like math). I want to take the FE exam because it will allow me to take the patent bar so I can become a patent lawyer (I want to become a patent lawyer because I also am a "full stack" programmer and want to help software companies get software patents). Therefore, I only need to take the FE just to pass it, and will not be taking the PE. I would like to enroll in one of your courses, but before I do, I'm curious: Assuming I know literally nothing about any of the topics at all, which test/course do you think I should take? Thanks for any feedback, I love your videos and their analysis, and I look forward to hearing from you and signing up! :)
Hi Nicholas. Thanks for reaching out and watching our videos. We would be happy to discuss this further with you. Please reach out to us at hello@genieprep.com. We look forward to hearing from you!🙂
Hello! I know Im pretty late but I just finished my architectural engineering degree and I'm not sure if I there's a PE test for it or I should take FE Other Disciplines.
Hi Salman. This depends on which PE you're planning to take, if you're going to take PE architecture then we don’t think you needs the FE for that, you can just take the PE directly but you might need some experience before taking the PE. If you're planning to take PE civil then we recommend FE civil. You need to check with the ncees for more information; ncees.org/ . I hope this helps. If you have any questions, you can contact us at hello@genieprep.com. Best of luck!
Congratulations! Our best advice is to take whatever you're interested in the most and closer to your field/job. And we just posted a new video of one of our students who passed their PE. He has great tips!! ua-cam.com/video/kMvWjCr5sAY/v-deo.html
I have taken the FE Civil and FE OD. I have studied countless hours and even went back to school to retake some courses which I received a "C." Still, I have failed the FE exam over 15 times.
Dontrel, I am sorry to hear that. Have you considered our courses? We actually had students who failed 9 times and 7 times and after they enroll in our class, they passed their FE. I would also recommend that you watch these webinars, which cover everything you need to study to pass your FE exam. They're free classes, you can enroll here, www.engenieer.com/lessons/learn-the-exact-4-steps-to-pass-your-fe-exam/. Feel free to email us at hello@engenieer.com if you have any questions. I know it's hard to keep going after failing 15 times, that's not an easy thing to go through but you can do it! You just need the right materials and you will get there! Don't give up! We believe in you!
Hello Kenza, do you have an email address or other contact information? I would like to speak with you about which exam I should take and which program I should enroll in on your website. Thanks!
Have you decided which FE exam you are going to prepare for?
